ELSIE ENDURED SO MUCH AND YET SURVIVED TO TELL HER STORY OF HOPE, COURAGE, DETERMINATION, AND DEEP LOVE OF GOD DESPITE FEARING THE UNKNOWN. GOD SAW HER THROUGH HER STRUGGLES AND ALL SHE HAD TO BEAR AT AN EARLY AGE AND NEVER LOSING FAITH. A BRAVE SOUL WHO KEPT HER FAITH AND NEVER LET IT WAIN IN SPITE OF ALL SHE HAD TO ENDURE.JONATHAN DID CAPTURE THE SOMETHING SPECIAL OF ELSIE'S BEAUTIFUL SOUL AND SPIRIT.

This is a well written story of one woman’s verbal account of her experiences during the war and after. The author captures her spirit throughout the entire story.

I found the life of Elsie captivating and didn’t put the book down as I was drawn into her life challenges and had to see how she persevered and succeeded in her life, and how her faith gave her the strength to endure her incredible hardships. An excellent read!

A very memorable story that is at once uplifting and yet depicts the worst of humans. I was able to obtain an advanced copy of this book (although delayed in writing this review!), and was impressed by Elsie's courage and faith, and also impressed with the way Jonathan presented her story. Very easy to read and it kept me glued to the book to find out what was next. It is so hard to believe that people existed in those concentration camps (and unfortunately still exist) that are cruel and can treat people like a despised animal. But the story about Elsie and what she faced throughout her life was very moving. Trusting in God and having that burning faith and hope to survive is inspirational. Thanks for letting us read Elsie's story.

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of "Elsie’s Tune," and it was remarkable. This book recounts the journey of a woman navigating her life during the Holocaust. Jonathan has beautifully shared Elsie's tale and how despite challenges, she persevered and had a steadfast faith in God. This story is definitely the one for the history books! I highly recommend it.

I was so grateful to have received an advanced reader copy of this book! It was very hard to put this book down from the moment I began reading it. Elsie’s story was written by Jonathan in such an outstanding manner, and simply brings out so much emotion. From the paper used for the cover of the book, to the style the chapters were divided in, all the way down to the wording used to tell Elsie’s story, this book is so moving and is an exceptional piece. Definitely worth reading, you will have a difficult time not thinking about it once you finish reading the book. It’s one that just sticks with you!Hoping to read more literature from Jonathan in the future!

I received an advanced reader copy of Elsie’s Tune and it did not disappoint. Any book about the Holocaust captures my attention. Elsie’s memory and attention to detail were so beautifully written. Such a raw look at one girl’s journey of family, faith and her dreams being torn from her life and how she held on to her faith even when she felt God had abandoned and forsaken her and how it affected her life in her later years. Truly a beautiful story of God’s grace.
