No more chronic nosebleeds
I've had chronic nosebleeds since I was a child, that often became extreme enough to necessitate an emergency room visit to stop the bleeding. I found out about Ayr, and started using it along with my humidifiers to try and prevent nosebleeds. The Ayr made a significant difference than using just a humidifier. Many years ago an ENT doctor told me to put petroleum jelly in my nose, but petroleum jelly felt so awful that I just didn't want to do it. Ayr does not feel like that at all though, it absorbs quickly and isn't at all greasy. You don't even feel it inside your nose except for when you initially spray it it feels a little cool and wet. I will definitely continue using this product, because I'm not having nosebleeds anymore when I do.

Decent Product - Lousy Packaging
While I had high hopes for this product based on my use of the Ayr Saline Nasal Gel product, this more viscous version misses the mark on several points. The product itself seemed to work fine and provided easy relief from winter time dry nasal passages, but the packaging is its real failing. The spray mechanism worked intermittently, and wasn't easy to handle during application. The finger holds are too small to easily work the spray mechanism, and the bottle was incredibly over-sized for the low volume of actual product contained within. Due to this, I think that in the end up to 1/8th of the product was wasted because the large container couldn't dispense the remaining product. All this combined with a high price point (when compared to the original gel product, and especially when compared to plain old saline spray) means that I most likely won't be buying this product again. The product does offer a way to coat your nasal passages more readily than the Ayr Saline Nasal Gel product, but the trade-off is that it doesn't provide the longevity of relief of the same. The one benefit of this product is that when you wake in the middle of the night, you can take a shot or two and go back to bed without having to work the product in like with the gel product (that would usually entail a decent amount of rubbing the nostrils and snorting to get it to flow).I think that I may just end up combining the original gel product, which I highly recommend, with a basic saline spray for those middle-of-the-night issues. Not as convenient as this product was supposed to be, but, oh well.

Yes to breathing!!!
LOVE this stuff. I have always had chronic dry nasal passages and this stuff is the only stuff that I use that doesn't (1.) stink or (2) feel weird. I've tried vaseline and similar products and I can't stand the smell - especially right there in my nose. This stuff helps me from getting the many nose bleeds I'm prone to. Will continue to order this as it's had to find at my stores

I don't like the spraying mechanism
It sprays a squirt that is not a mist, but like a straight spray right up the nose - not super pleasant. That kid of thing can actually irritate my sensitive sinuses. I think the product does work as advertised; it does seem to lubricate the nose better than simple saline, like Ocean for example. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again just because it doesn't spray as a mist.

Don't recommend.
Hate this stuff. It's like squirting old salty glue gel up your nose. I don't know if they sent me an expired product or what but I just threw it away. It made my nose extremely dry and left a crusty film inside.

Still looking for relief
I suffer from chronic dry nasal passages which means I'm always stuffy. Saline spray works for about 3 mutes and then it's back to being a mouth breather. I had hoped that this would give me a little bit longer relief since it's a gel instead of just water but sadly this didn't work any better than saline. In addition, the bottle was difficult to hold, as if it was made for someone with much bigger hands and my hands are not freakishly small. The gel also burned my nose sort of like suckling pool water up your nose. I won't purchase again.

Ayr
A doctor had recommended this to me. I kept getting bloody noses that took long periods of time to stop. After carefully using this product, my bloody noses stopped completely. Plus, I lowered the heat a point or two.TIP:Use cautiously meaning; do not shove the medicine up your nose, just place it slightly below the opening and pump it to release. It is powerful and you do not want to cause any issues. Then repeat on the other side.

Lifesaver for allergy sufferers!
Ayr Saline Nasal Gel spray is a lifesaver of a product or allergy sufferers . Its a gel in spray form that contains aloe vera so it is soothing. This product came highly recommended from my sons allergist and it really has been helpful in the reduction of bloody noses he had this year. My son uses flonase but it dries out the nose hence the bloody nose. The nasal gel is sold locally in the tube form and while its good, its difficult to really coat the interior of the nose without a q-tip. I highly recommend this nasal gel at nighttime so you breath/sleep easier.
