Not just for travel
This is my "version 2" of this plug. I bought version 1 in 2016 and its still working today. That version was 30W, USB A only and I have used the heck out of it both at home and while traveling. That includes a 3 year stretch where I was on the road 1 week a month and it was in an out of bags constantly.Size is great - about a deck of Ono cards. You get 3 USB A and 3 USB C ports. Thats nice because I have a ton of USB A cords for my older devices.Charging speed is excellent even with every plug in use. Thats the benefit of almost 4x the power of my old one.My SO and I both have one because we both have numbers devices - iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Kindle Fire, headphones, earbuds. Its nice to be able to plug everything in instead of trying to decided if something has been charged "enough" so you can free up a port. They are really great at the airport because all we need is one plug to power both of us.Huge plus for version 2 is the detachable wall plug. Not only does it eliminate a common point of failure, it makes packing easier.Highly recommended.

Streamlined Power for a Clutter-Free Command Post
The Anker Prime 250W Desktop Charger is a powerhouse addition to your painting table, perfectly suited for fueling your creative sessions. With four USB-C and two USB-A ports, it seamlessly powers your LED lights, phone, tablet, or speaker all at once—without the cord chaos. Its compact, cool-running GaN design tucks neatly beside your tools, and the real-time display helps track power use at a glance while you’re deep in miniature detail or strategizing your next LCG move.Performance-wise, it’s as efficient as it is versatile. You get smart power distribution, fast charging, and an app for remote control—all designed to support a focused, clutter-free workspace. It’s a bit of a premium buy, but for a creative station like yours that juggles modern tech and old-school charm, it’s a reliable, future-proof centerpiece.

Finally - a charging hub with consistent output.
I have many Anker products around the house. Always drawn to the build quality and support that Anker provides versus saving a couple of dollars on an unknown brand. This charger is no exception. The ports provide consistent power whether you are charging one device or six devices. While many others "share" wattage across ports and slow to a charging crawl when multiple devices are connected, this charger provides consistent (30w/20w USB-C charging or 12w/18w USB-A charging) no matter how many devices are connected. It has a clean look and they even provide an adhesive cord organizer to clean up the desk or nightstand. Impressed with this one and would recommend.

Anker stands by warranty
5 stars is based on Anker standing by their warranty and sending me a replacement. When the original charger arrived I tested all the ports and found one of the A ports was defective. The other 5 ports worked perfectly. I called Anker customer service and after answering a few questions they said they would send a replacement. The replacement was delivered 2 days later and it works perfectly.

Disappointed in the charging speeds.
This charger seems well built and I have used it as my main travel charger on a number of trips since purchase 6 months ago. It has been a solid charger on those trips but I did feel that my devices didn't charge as fast as I thought they should. So I finally decided to do a comparison between this unit a couple of other multi-port chargers I use as backups. In this comparison, I tested the Anker charger against an Insignia branded 112w 3-port charger and another Insignia 65w 3-port charger. The phones I used were a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL using a USB-A charging cable, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra using a USB-C cable and a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra using a USB-C cable. All phones are capable of charging at 45w speeds but I used a USB-A cable for the Pixel because the Insignia chargers only have 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port. As shown in the 1st picture of the Anker charger, the phones are getting charging speeds of 5.3w, 11.3w and 23.0w for a total output of 39.6w. The second pic is using the Insignia 112w charger, which gave speeds of 6.1w, 23.6w and 23.1w for a total of 52.8w. The third pic shows the Insignia 65w charger, which gave speeds of 5.9w, 6.5w and 30.9w for a total of 43.3w. Both Insignia chargers only have 3 ports, use GaN technology and cost much less than the Anker unit, while charging my devices at faster speeds.I can honestly say that I am very disappointed with the charging speeds I got from this Anker 112w charger, especially considering the premium prices that Anker products are listed for.Updated 6/30/2025:An Anker rep reached out after reading my initial review and sent me a replacement unit. Unfortunately the replacement unit gave similar charging speeds as the 1st unit. Because there are a number of external factors that may have affected the charging speeds my testing provided, I cannot fully trust my results.I can verify that all ports on both units worked to charge any devices plugged into them and am bumping my review to 4 stars for GREAT customer support.

Bought this to replace an old charger. I have always trusted the Anker brand and was not disappointed. The feel of the charger alone tells you of the quality that was put in to building this product. The charger comes with a 5 foot power cord that plugs into the back of the charger. The charger works perfect. Everything about this charger reeks of high quality.Highly recommend.
