WizKidsD&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures: Adventurer's Campsite

Very proud of this set, which has good detail and is very unique. I very much enjoyed painting the wagon. I also felt the price was quite low for what it came with compared to similar miniature kits.My kit had the text fixed on the box, so it came with what it advertised. There are some thin pieces that seem delicate, so I understand how some kits could arrive broken with poor handling, but I did not run into this issue. Also, I was a little disappointed with the two horses in the kit, which look fine, but are identical figures.

Love the details. Curtains, lanterns, wood grain ect. Only problem it is delicate. Was missing a rear wheel on the coach, it wasn't in the box so I'm assuming it broke on the way to or during packing.

The wagon is fantastic! Some minis are bent because of the plastic packaging holding them in warp them some. The horses are not attached to their base, they have little pegs to connect them, but the legs are bent out of place a bit, just enough to make gluing them on their bases a pain.

Just what I wanted! I've been looking for some classic gypsy style wagons to use in our campaign, where the boys and girl characters have separate wagons/trailers. Previously, I was using Sarissa Precision cut wood ones, and they were alright. I painted them too brightly, and because they were etched wood, were more difficult to paint detailing on.Not so with these! When Wizkids first started coming out with unpainted miniatures, I have to admit I kind of sniffed and turned my nose up at them. As a dedicated miniature enthusiast, I already had Reaper miniatures and Dark Sword miniatures to fulfill my hobby needs, why were they trying to muscle into the game? Having been previously unimpressed with the painted versions, I picked up a couple unpainted Wizkids at my friendly local gaming store. There they sat, waiting to be fully appreciated.Then this set came out. I was blown away by a couple things: One, the price. It's really low for what you get in the set! A beautiful, deep cut (meaning the details are actually fairly easy to paint) Wagon, two very nice looking horses, and lots of little odds and ends that absolutely did not need to be added, but really bring out flavor in the camp.Second impressive item was that they are actually very well detailed! I was actually so impressed by this set, I pulled out my previously ignored Wizkids unpainted figures I had bought previously and started painting those too, and am just as impressed with the quality as this set.I actually bought two of them because I liked the idea behind it so much, and might even buy a third one. I like to have extras of some of my miniatures in case I want to paint something later, to show how I've learned and expanded my skills.So whether you are a wandering adventurer, coming upon an overturned cart in the road, its contents strewn about and its owners nowhere to be seen, a traveling group on a long road to the spine of the world, moving through perilous mountains and camping on frosty ridges in your safe wagons, or visiting the land of Barovia and consulting Ezmerelda for a tarokka reading in her cozy wagon, these gorgeous models will definitely add flavor and style to your tabletop.Your friends will be very impressed, as mine were.

Good set in general, comes with a few really nice things.

Very good. Was surprised how detailed everything was. Makes for a great camping aesthetic for my campaigns. Only complaint was that one of the lanterns broke off upon opening but nothing a little super glue couldn't fix.

No where in the description does it say you're getting more items than you actually get. With that out of the way this set is awesome and you must get it. There's so much cool stuff with it, well worth the price.

I have wanted a Gypsy vardo since my very first game of D&D, back in 1976 - and the Gypsy wagon in this set is a perfect fit.All the contents have already seen use - from the bedrolls to the campfire to the cooking pot.The models were fairly clean, aside from mold lines that were easy to find and remove with a sharp knife, and paint went on smoothly and adhered well to the plastic. Detail was deep enough not to be obscured by the paint.I am completely satisfied with this purchase, and have since purchased other models in the line, as well as another copy of the same set - my wife wants a wagon for her witch character in our RPG.

The set has great detail, and the wagon is gorgeous. BUT be careful with the wheels of the wagon, it does not rotate and is very fragile. Any attempt to twist will break it off.

Il mio giudizio sarebbe stato di molto superiore se non fosse che nella confezione, peraltro integra e ancora sigillata, non mancasse un pezzo, si tratta dei pali con la pentola da mettere sopra al fuoco. Avrei rimandato indietro il tutto ma dovevo completare un diorama e non avevo il tempo di aspettare la sostituzione per cui ho rifatto il pezzo con balsa e pasta per modellare. Pregherei il fornitore di prestare maggiore attenzione a ciò che spedisce anche in virtù del fatto che dalla ampia finestratura della scatola si notava immediatamente la mancanza di un pezzo.

Le produit est arrivé cassé (pas la faute du revendeur) le paquet était intact, mais c'est une constante dans les avis... problème de design et de packaging. J'aurais préféré un rack d'armes en moins et des couchages de plus. Et un parchemin ? Si vous pouvez l'avoir à prix réduit, la roulotte fait quand-même son petit effet !

Fantastic level of detail for the money, and all the extra bits really help sell any encounter they're used in.
