This beautiful piece of handcrafted jewellery sits on a velvet pad inside a quality jewellery box and is therefore perfect for gifting. All our sea glass has been hand-collected from beaches in the north-east of England. It is genuine sea glass (waste from a Victorian glass factory, dumped into the sea many decades ago) that has been naturally tumbled into its current form over many years by the tide. We do not believe 'cultured' sea glass holds the same historical magic as naturally surf-tumbled sea glass and therefore we do not tumble any of our glass at home. The form and appearance of each piece of glass is entirely down to mother nature and therefore glass may exhibit slight dents or marks which should not be seen as imperfections. Some of our pieces have been polished using a little olive oil on a soft cloth in order to bring out the beautiful colours. However, in storage the glass may re-develop its natural slightly frosted appearance. If this happens a quick wipe with a little olive or baby oil will have it looking as good as new again.
