Ruthless Creatures: A Queens and Monsters Novel

I loved this book. The characters were great and the story was good.I love Kage. God, the mouth on that man. I loved how someone so tough and ruthless could also be so romantic. I loved Nat as well. She’s been through so much and get’s thrown into the crossfire without knowing why.The story is good. You keep wondering what Kage is hiding. He should have told her earlier because the way it came out wasn’t ideal. Natalie was always going to react badly.I loved Kage’s devotion to her. He made a choice, which was her, and he stuck by it no matter what. The spark between them was great and I loved how her always waited for her permission to do anything. The situation wasn’t ideal between them, but they had feelings that they couldn’t deny. In the end, Kage made everything right.Sloane was brilliant as well. I loved the conversations between her and Natalie. The epilogue was great and I’m so glad that she’s getting her own book. I’m looking forward to reading it.Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I really enjoyed this one! I enjoyed the banter and the chemistry between the hero and the heroine. This book starts off majorly insta lovey and insta lusty but as the story progresses, there is more development of the characters relationship and also of the overall plot which I liked. The chemistry between these two was amazing and the spice was HAWT! ALSO love it when a mafia alpha falls for this one girl and she becomes his obsession... Kage was a simp for Natalie and I lived for it!!!I also adored the friendship between our heroine and her best friend Sloane. It was amazing to see such a close and empowering female friendship in this! An amazing start to this mafia series!!!

I'm not sure 5 stars is enough given how amazing this book is.I love a book that makes me really feel and this did just that. It's the kind of book that you may need to pause and take a deep breath before you continue.We first meet Nat, 5 years after the mysterious disappearance of her fiance, the night before their wedding. She's deeply affected by this and has shut the world out, living with her dog and a broken heart.Enter Kage. He's brooding and dangerous with a sweet, dirty talking mouth.And he's been sent to do a job, to collect a debt. It's a job he cannot do once he meets Nat. She's fiery, smart mouthed and without him realising at first, she burys her way into his heart.It's hard not to fall in love with their love story. Sure, he's morally grey and ruthless but in her presence he's tender and devoted. My heart smiled when they were togetherThis is a fantastic read. The plot is engaging and well paced with wonderful characters.Highly recommend.

The story was good but I feel a lot happened quickly at the end and it was all over. I think I need more from these two as o really liked them.

Loved it!!!I can't begin to tell you how long this little gem has been on my tbr.. Why did I wait do long?!I loved all the characters, truly, but SLOANE I want her as my bestie. Her and the fmc Natalie conversations were so real and funny as they should be between friends.This had it all great soft fml a hot flight mouthed mmc and a truly wicked bff and a lazy teddy best of a dog!I'm off to read Sloane book and I CAN OR WAIT to read her sassy mouth 😅

Highly recommend, I love this author's writing, I'm drawn into the story quickly and characters are likeable. Spicey scenes are hot, I'd love more of them but maybe I'm just greedy.I came for the smut but the story is good too.

Well I don't usually like mafia romances but this one was recommended to me and I can honestly say I loved it! Geissenger is a new author for me, but now I know and understand why this author's books are raved about I will be joining that fan club!Ruthless Creatures has it all: a smart, well paced plot, fantastic characters, great banter (Sloane especially), so much delicious heat, mystery, intrigue, an all consuming love story and a really loveable dog! What more could you want! Brilliant stuff! I will be reading the rest in this series for sure.As a note I have this on kindle and audio and the audio is off the charts!! The voice actors are pitch perfect for the characters and take playing their part to another level!! Highly recommend listening to this on audio!

Awesome book, first time in awhile dark romance actually has an amazing storyline not just the usual. Can’t wait to read the next one.

I just read all 4 Queens and Monster's books - I couldn't put my kindle down! Such great characters and the heat - whew! Loved the humor and the believability of the conversations. Twists were great and all of the overlaps in the stories were so smooth.

This just made it to my favourite mafia romance! Hands down the best ive read so far! Absolutely enjoyed the style of writing.

A sassy heroine meets the big bad wolf, and the sparks start flying. In Ruthlesw Creatures, J.T. Geissinger built a dangerous mafia world I am very eager to explore a bit (lot) more.The dark tone, the thrilling and unique storyline had me hooked from the start. I wanted to know more, I laughed out loud at the smart comments and the quirkiness of the heroine. Oh the banter! Did I tell you how hot it was, too? Because it sure was. The author has a way with words!Towards the end, my mind wandered some because the plot took me into a direction I didn't care much about. That being said, I recommend it to readers who are looking for a very entertaining mafia story. Slick and easy to read. Enjoy!
