Easy peasy
Looks good and applied easily. The instructions are more complicated than they need to be. Just peel off the checkered side, position, press and smooth out, then gently pull up the parchment side.

Labeled my Simple Humans
We have 2 matching stainless trash cans, and use one for trash, one for recycling. I know they make 2 in one units, but we needed a lot more space for recycling. When I got tired of telling visitors “recycle on the right”, I got the reversed out metallic stickers and applied them. Very happy with the results!

Honest Review :) - Good Product
I gave these stickers 5 Stars because they are good quality stickers and came very fast . I wish I would’ve put more thought into it when I was ordering because I got a Small and they are bigger than I wanted . I also read a review that stated the name of the exact color they had, (which appeared to be the one I also wanted), but it doesn’t blend as well as the one they had pictured so just make sure you’re choosing the one that YOU think is the one best for you ! They still deserve 5 stars because those were my fault lol . The product is good ! Be gentle when removing the stickers from the paper , it’s ok to take your time ! And lay them down perfectly so you don’t have bubbles . I think I’ve had it for a month or so and none of the corners have lifted . I even wiped them clean and they didn’t budge . (Don’t be dramatic and start wiping them all crazy, they’re still stickers lol)

NOT what was expected. My trash sticker ended up IN the trash.
Not sure how this got such good reviews unless there’s a lot of product-for-good-review types in there. This product will try your patience. If I had to do it again I’d stay FAR away from this. The basic problem is that the vinyl sticks to the backer paper and NOT the release paper. My wife had to start the peel and then gently peel the individual edges of the graphics to keep them stuck to the release paper. AND they don’t indicate which is which so you won’t know until you peel the first one only to find half the graphic on the release paper and the other half on the backer paper. Then good luck trying to get them back together. If you’re looking for something fast, simple, and uncomplicated, keep looking. This ain’t it. Ironic that the trash sticker ended up in the Trash.

Get ready to be frustrated!
I'll just put it like this. You need to be some kind of wizard to apply this sticker without messing up the fine lines of it or it not laying correctly or having air bubbles trapped in places. Just attempt to re-position it and it gets even worse. The material is so thin and delicate that there's no room for error. For the price I would say just get a sticker with a continuous backing and not one with fine laser cut outs...it will be MUCH easier to place on items. Sadly these were peeled off in their messed up state and thrown in the bin. If you can easily work with this type of sticker you are my hero lol.

2.75" size is great for regular trash cans
My household has at least as much recycling as trash each week. Since decent dual-compartment trash cans cost >$200, we ended up with two identical regular trash cans. Then we started doing the dance - reach your foot toward the one can's pedal, then change your mind and reach for the other, step on it, realize it was the wrong one after all, step on the other one, toss the item in and throw up your hands in mild frustration. We got very good at this dance - somehow the brain power required to associate trash and recycling with left and right was just too much for us, let alone any guests that come over. I was thinking about painstakingly hand-painting labels on with nail polish, but then I thought there must be a less time-consuming and better-looking solution. This is it! These vinyl decals are small and understated, they look nice in our black-and-stainless kitchen, and they communicate clearly without being tacky or condescending. Don't be intimidated by the application process, at least for the small decals. They come with a URL to an instructional video - just watch that and follow the instructions exactly, take your time and use a toothpick or other small object to gently nudge down any parts that want to lift up with the backing. Once applied according to instructions, these things are really stuck on! Ours get wiped down daily with no signs of wear, peeling, or collecting anything gross. They've been on for a month and still look brand new. Being made of die-cut vinyl sheet, they're not exactly eco-friendly, but I feel better knowing they're pretty much permanent. I was debating between the smallest size and the second-smallest size, and I'm glad I chose the 2.75" size. Bigger would have been fine too, but I like the look of these small ones.

Looks great, easy to apply but read this!
Ok. Really unhelpful directions (for me) but I figured it out1) clean your surface really well- I used a tiny bit of dawn and rinsed and dried my surface.2) take off the opaque paper layer with the grid printed on it. This leaves the now-sticky decal on a sticky wax papery surface .3) carefully place your decal where you want it and use a cc or something like that (I used my license) to press down at an angle so that you get all of the edges4) carefully peel off the wax paper layer squeegeeing as you go and smoothing out bubblesIt took me more time to write this than it took to apply. I don’t know about durability, but if there are issues I’ll be sure to update!

Fussy instructions, impossible to line up floating bits of decal
The vinyl sticker sticks to the paper backing, not the top mask--which I have to assume from the directions is the opposite of their intent. If you follow the incredibly detailed directions word-for-word, you will end up with the decal stuck to the paper backing and no top mask left to keep the "floating" bits of the decal in position when you try (and fail) to remove them from the paper backing. Very disappointed. I got the "trash" and "recycle" decals, so I had the opportunity to try to learn from my first mistake. Nope--they both ended up in the (unlabeled) trash bin. This just didn't work. I tried my best, twice.

Not at all as advertised
This is the worst transaction I have ever encountered on Amazon. The stickers arrived and they are NOT metallic. They are grey with a metal shine pattern printed on white vinyl. Really cheap looking and awful. I put them on until I can find something else. REALLY disappointed and angry about this. Check out the pics. Not worth the money. Embarrassing for the seller.
