Oh you tricksy pi foundationeers
So I’ve tried a Brazillion different power supplies for my pi 3bs, and each of them gave the low voltage bolt even the 5 volt 3 amp one I recently bought here, and miraculously this one mostly works? Almost like they designed the pi to work flawlessly with their own official unit? Not really it still gives the lightning bolt especially when the fan is on. But it is powering a teensy and a fan and the bolt only comes on occasionally. Better than before and it fits inside a c64 power supply block so all the better. My VICberry20 appreciates it’s more adequate than the next best adaptorness

Buy this one!
Buy this and be done with it. Don't waste your time and money on the cheap Chinese power adapters that pollute Amazon. Bought two different brands and both failed within a month. That's one month of ownership, not actual use. Actual usage was probably less than 12hrs.I'm knocking off 2 stars because of how infuriatingly overpriced this thing is. If you live near a Microcenter, you can get them for less than $10. You'd think Amazon marketplace would be cheaper than a brick n mortar, right? Nope. I paid over double MSRP for this. LOL, I guess you can ship it for free when you paying for two and getting one! Element14 has it for less than $10 on their site, but want as much to ship it to you. Ridiculous! If you're buying a Pi for the first time, just save yourself the grief and buy this. If you want a no hassle power switch, buy one of these while you're buying the adapter:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0113VTPSW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1Hope the Pi4 and on-board voltage regulation, uses a conventional barrel type power adapter and has a power button!!!!

Good product but no in-line power switch.
Gets points for having the swappable face for universal use, but loses points (at its high price) for not having an in-line power switch, which is important for proper post-shutdown restarting of the Pi for some OS's. Nice that it comes in both white or black color - most wall warts are black color only.Note: the product photos are outdated. The embossed Pi logo (the raspberry graphic) is no longer black on the white model. It's simply an uncolored embossed image as on the black model. If this matters to you, better get some black acrylic paint, a fine brush, and a steady hand.

Get this one and save your time and aggravation
This is the power supply that solved the issues with my Pi 3b+ dropping power. My Pi would experience power outages where the red led went out or blinked. I was using a power supply from a kit that I bought for the Pi and it turns out that when the mains voltage drops a bit the voltage delivered to the Pi drops below the threshold. That doesn't happen with this official power supply. Apparently you get what you pay for.

Do you use your Pi with SDR/radio purposes?? This is the power supply you want for a .3b...
I had been using a generic power supply for my Pi 3b which had been tracking aircraft on ADSBexchange, and couldn't figure out why SDRUno's FFT display was showing hash from 1- infinity MHz... Then I figured it out, and got this power supply. No more hash! No more RFI! This little guy is DEFINITELY worth the money! Thank you to the manufacturer for building a QUALITY PRODUCT!!

Perfect for the power hungry Raspberry Pi 3B+
I had constant under voltage warning on my Pi 3B+ when using power hungry apps whatever the power supply I was using. I tried a 5V 3A power plug and a 5V 8A power supply from different manufacturers here on Amazon and I still had this issue. Not anymore with this power supply, I love quality and this power supply delivers what the Pi 3B+ requires.

Buy this to replace Canakit Power Supply for 3B+ - RetroPie Build
Bought this to stop the lightning bolt symbol from appearing in my regular 3B build after trying to power an LED joystick.Bought another because, turns out, my 3B+ won't even boot up with the Canakit-included power supply. But this one works without a hitch. That extra .2V matters for stuffed RetroPie images.

Superior to the 5V/2.5A kit power sources
It provides power 👍 - don't get the other kit power adapters. After stress testing, it appears the 5.1V of this adapter (vs the 5V of the kit adapters) matters. I've gotten low power throttling of the CPU from other 5V 2.5A kit power sources, but this one has not throttled yet.
