The batteries fit my Sony wf1000xm4 earbuds perfectly. The installation was fairly straightforward. I warmed up the headphones using my wife's hair dryer and then use the little screwdriver tool to pry it apart. And I use the screwdriver to pry the battery out of the case and put the new one in. I did have to use a little bit of crazy glue to re-glue the two parts of the case. After reinstalling the battery. The batteries were roughly 70% charged. I charged them in the case to 100%. So far so good so. I'll see how long these new batteries last

Successfully installed battery to my Wf-1000xm4 overall installation as medium difficulty. Overall I am happy with batteries I received and free tools which come with to install. I would recommend it.Product images should be updated to reflect increased capacity of battery and free tools as well.

Welp, all was going well, the batteries fit in my Sony earbuds, then I tore one of the ribbons. So, I'll be buying new ones. Otherwise, this product is great and the extra tools are great to take what you're working on apart.

It's acceptable as replacement batteries the Sony WF-1000X3 and almost half price of the others as listed on Amazon.I didn't need the pry tools as I just used finger nails and a lot of pressure to open the earbuds. The phillip screwdriver was kind of cheap. Could only get screws out of one earbuds but not with the other as it keeps on slipping. Had to used another more professional screwdriver (finer like those for eye glasses) to do the other earbud.I shorted one battery based on how the earbud positive metal contact is designed as it got hot but I quickly removed and reset the metal contact. Probably should have used the glue which came with the kit to lock the positive metal contactor in place but didn't. Maybe next time.The old original batteries lasted between 17 and 25 minutes. These replacement batteries last roughly 2+ hours. Not long enough for typical air travel flights. So I will be looking for another set of batteries soon.

Everything need to replace batteries in Sony’s poorly executed poorly engineered battery issue. Found a repair video on YouTube and replaced the batteries in both earbuds in probably 45 minutes.

Brang back my old WF-1000XM4.Just searched how to YouTube video and installed slowly and carefully as to not brake the ribbon. I recommend using a lot of caution when using the heat gun as you can melt the plastic. Other than that the batteries are holding 100% full charge and working exactly or even better than manufacture.

This kit has almost everything to you need to do a good battery replacement. I just pulled up a youtube guide to follow along and was able to do everything except closing the enclosure up with glue. Revitalized my headphones battery capacity. Would purchase this kit again if I needed to replace batteries again, but be sure to get some sort of adhesive as well!

Batteries worked well for the first month or so but now battery life on a full charge is about 50-65% of what they were new. Most have been old stock or just not very good quality.
