My four-year-old granddaughter and seven grandson, completed 4 experiments. They loved the color mixing, overflowing "lava," and jellied unicorns. Once we got used to the names of the tools and layout of the simple directions written for each experiment, the children were able to setup the next experiment. They even added twists of their own: What happens if we freeze the color mix? Could we make more colors? etc. I had my grandkiddos for the weekend, and we needed a project while the youngest one napped. I'm eager for them to return to complete more. Also, I loved that the kit catered to a girl. So many science kits are geared for boys. This was a perfect balance; it has a girly flare while giving my grandson lots of options too. Their goal is to get to the "advanced" experiments. This is a perfect birthday or holiday gift for a girl ages 4 to 8.

This is an awesome science kit for little ones! It comes with very clear instructions and you can make tons of different experiments. There's stuff for younger and older children. My kids love it and they were so excited when they got it!

Awesome kit. Fun experiments. A little off the standard selection which I like.Took a star off because I hate when things are labeled "for girls!" or "for boys!"Does it matter? All that does is reinforce outdated gender stereotypes that are harmful to growing minds. My kid loves it, doesn't matter if they are he/she/they.

We got this kit for my daughter's 5th birthday and while she loves the idea and is very excited for science projects, we have found about half of the "50" offered projects are pretty disappointing. The "recipe" for making perfume was "put 5 drops of extract into some water". Not exactly a science experiment. There are also quite a few ingredients and tools you need to have on hand at home to complete, would've appreciated if they were upfront about those.

Great STEM fun for kids. My daughter had been wanting to do science experiments for a while and I found this kit. Very good science experiments for my 4-year-old daughter and my 2-year-old loves watching her make fizzy potions and volcano eruptions. Good addition - limits screen time and the kids learn something new every day.

The projects were plenty for the kids to do and covered a lot of concepts. The instruction booklet is well-instructed and also provides the reasoning behind each experiment. My kids especially loved doing the "fizzy" volcanoes.
