Used this for my 2017 BMW M3 Comp however, if you don’t have the new style charging port you will have to purchase another adapter elsewhere(I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max) so I ended up purchasing another one but overall worked flawlessly. This cable plugged into the Ethernet port of my older Windows laptop and a 2016 BMW 428i. It worked flawlessly. Plus this particular kit is futureproofed, since it comes with an Ethernet to USB-C adapter, as later generations of computers have done away with dedicated Ethernet ports.

Nicely built, solid feeling OBD connector - connected easily with my devices. and does the job! including a USB-C to RJ45 is helpful, so I don't have to search for one to use it with my tablet.

I will start with the cable is extremely stiff in cold weather. Could barely uncoil it in the winter.Inside those e-net cables are nothing special at all, because it is direct connection of Ethernet to the pins of OBD2 connector, that’s all. So the “brand” doesn’t matter. They are all the same.Included usb-c to Ethernet adapter is a generic Realtek gigabit chip, if you already have Ethernet on your laptop, you don’t need it.Everything works as intended with ISTA and other software. Took forever to arrive.
