Lamberts Multi-Guard Control - 120 Tablets. Lamberts Multi-Guard Control is very similar to Lamberts Multi-Guard , but contains extra ingredients to help you to regulate your blood sugar levels between meals. It is also a 2-a-day tablet, whereas the standard multi-guard is one-a-day. The extra ingredients include: Cinnamon: Experimental evidence suggests that cinnamon may help to correct glucose metabolism problems in patients suffering from blood sugar imbalances. A daily dose of Lamberts Multi-Guard Control contains 2000mg - that's 2 whole grams - of cinnamon. Alpha Lipoic Acid: The use of alpha lipoic acid as a supplement is debated, but experimental evidence suggests that it may have a role in helping cells to absorb glucose. Magnesium: A higher level of magnesium exists in this tablet. Magnesium has many roles in the body, and magnesium deficiencies can cause a number of problems which often manifest themselves in weakness or tiredness. Chromium: The effects of chromium are still being established, but its deficiency has been implicated in a range of glucose control problems. Note that there are some ingredients, such as Vitamin A, which are present in the standard Multi-Guard but not in this, so it's worth having a good think as to which of the two are more suitable. For most purposes, we recommend the standard one.
