There ok. Something cool for a youngster that has more than 3 min of focus. Glue drys in about 15min so it takes a good 30 min to put them together.

My 3 year old loved it. It has a few pieces which is good as a first project.

My son received this for his 8th birthday. He really wanted to build things with "real wood", which this is. However, some of the pieces were "splintered" and the holes didn't line up perfectly. It comes with generic wood glue which doesn't seem to be holding the small pieces in place very strong. The dowels that fit the pieces together still feel wobbly after inserting and gluing. My son doesn't seem to notice a problem as we were working on it, but I don't have high hopes that these will last with normal play. Nevertheless, he had fun building them and painting them so there is value in that. The instructions are simple with a couple of basic diagrams. He was able to put the models together almost independently with "moral support". I did notice that one piece of wood in every kit was stamped with "Greenbriar International" which I believe is the parent company for The Dollar Tree stores (where everything is only a dollar) so I wasn't pleased to see that the 4 models included in this kit were likely once distributed to Dollar Stores and sold for only a dollar each when they sell for over fourteen here. So, in conclusion, I guess I have to say that my son loved them but as a parent, I am a little disappointed.
