10x Magnification Wall Mounted Extendable Mirror in Chrome

I purchased this when I redecorated my bathroom. This was pricier than others, but I wanted the best. Quality wise it definitely is. It is very solid and sturdy. If you compare it to the one I took out this one would be a Rolls Royce and the other would be a Go Kart. It is easy to put up, held to the wall by two screws, which come with chrome covers, so it looks like an expensive product. I went for 10 times magnification as that was the best you can get. On the normal side it is absolutely ideal. Like the previous reviewer I found 10 times magnification too much. I have used it for several months before writing this review and have used the magnified side only three times. On each occasion it hurt my eyes and I ended up with a headache. If you have bad eyesight this may be very useful to you, but if you have normal eyesight I would choose a lesser magnification product. Still a very good quality product, well worth the money.

Solidly designed but the 10X magnifying power requires you to stand very close to the mirror to avoid significant distortion..

Our previous wall mounted mirror was a third of the price so I was wary about about paying this much. However the adage "you get what you pay for" is so very true. The wall mirror oozes quality, it is quite heavy but reassuringly robust and the swivel joints are smooth and tight (unlike our old mirror which wobbled around!)The 10X magnification is ideal for my wife when applying makeup but I prefer the normal mirror on the flip side for shaving.I'm glad my wife persuaded me to buy this mirror, it is certainly worth it.

NICE QUALITY, BUT FOUND THE MAGNIFICATION TOO GREAT FOR MY EYESIGHT. VERY HEAVY, AND DIFFICULT TO FIT. I AM SURE IT WILL SUIT OTHERS THOUGH.

Fantastic when you get old and can't see to put your makeup on or pluck your eyebrows.
