I have been on blood thinners for the past few years and will continue taking them for the remainder of my life. Having been a medic in the Army I have a bit of experience and knowledge the average person may not. I was very surprised that my prescribing doctor didn't really explain the risks that come along with blood thinners. The eye opener for me was a dentist visit where the dentist was unable to take impressions of my teeth due to the bleeding. That's when I realized I need to be prepared before I need these items. These bandages are now part of my first aid kit that is kept in my glove box of the car in case I ever had an accident and needed to control the bleeding myself while waiting for help to arrive. I suggest every person who takes serious thinners have a similar kit just in case and educate themselves how to treat bleeding wounds. These are well sealed and packaged in a very nice and compressed bag. Hopefully I never open them. But if I do, they appear to be decent quality and appear easy to open. Application should be like any other bandage. Based on the quality of the package I will assume the bandage is of similar high quality. The price is more reasonable than many others but I still don't want to open them to test.

I got these for my medical bag. This is something you never have to open but it is great to have on hand in case of emergencies. These come vacuum sealed so I did not open them, but they look to be well made and will be well worth the cost to have on hand if there is an emergency!

These are some nice looking packs of combat gauze. They are packaged well in heavy vac sealed packs. They fit great into my trauma kit. I haven't opened these and hopefully I will never need to. Based off the looks of these, I feel confident that they will work if and when I need them to. 5 stars on these

This is the kind of item that you wish that you would never have to use, however, it is a well-made first aid product. The material is tightly vacuum packed, so it takes up a minimum of space, and is raided with clotting agents to help speed the stopping of bleeding. The ones I received were recently made and so do not have an expiration until 2027.

You may have be familiar with a certain brand of quick clotting bandage... and this one has the exact same active ingredient: kaolin.Kaolin is a clay based mineral that activates one of your clotting factors to speed up coagulation. This quick clotting gauze uses it to help stop bleeding fast.The big win of this particular one is the value... 12' is quite a substantial length and the pricing is very competitive with others. I can't speak to the effectiveness of this particular brand, but kaolin embedded gauze is pretty much the industry standard.

I appreciate how neatly this gauze is packaged, with clear instructions right on the Mylar wrap. The only thing that raised an eyebrow was the sticker that appears to be the company’s logo, but that doesn’t affect my confidence in its effectiveness. After looking into the brand, I’m convinced this is a high-quality hemostatic gauze. It’s a solid addition to any IFAK or emergency kit.
