Elia Egg Shaped Vacuum Jug 1.0L White

Clients come into my business frequently throughout the day, so it's nice not to have to leave the reception area to make tea until the afternoon.The litre capacity ensures that I have my two litre intake of water (albeit with a herbal teabag or two in the mix) as I have a full teapot in the morning and another in the afternoon. Divine!I like the design two and often get compliments for it.

Working from home, my husband and I get through a lot of tea. Fed up of boiling the kettle umpteen times a day, I bought one of these having seen and used one in the reception of an office. It is an excellent jug - just add one tea bag, fill to the full 1 litre, and you have piping hot tea for about 6 hours, if not more. It can be used for any hot drink. So rather than getting through about 10 tea bags a day and however much electricity it costs to boil the kettle many times, these jugs are fabulous addition to our home office. And no arguments about whose turn it is to make the tea next.

Hmmm. Okay kept tea warm but can't say I enjoyed using it for that "nice cup of tea". Might suit iced lemon tea drinkers better.

keeps tea hot all evening and pours well The heat retention saves a lot of wasted tea and hot water. capacity is about 3 good mugs of tea.

I bought this jug like many others to keep a jug of hot tea during the workday.I do like the look of this design however it is really weird: to open it you have to screw the bulky round body open and pour into the silver vessel inside (which is also totally loose, no wonder its replaceable!) The lid doesn't open and the whole thing is very light but feels quite cheap once you're past the box.Apparently it keeps liquids hot for hours and hours but I can't comment on that one.Sorry Elia, but I think this design is terrible..
