FlexGear iPhone 7 8 Glass Screen Protector [Easy Installation] Premium Clear, Tempered, Compatible with iPhone 7/8 (4-Pack)

Box includes 4 glass screen protectors, 4 individual prep kits which include a small microfiber cloth, an alcohol wipe, and a dust remover sticker. There is also 1 rigid plastic card (not 4) that is used to squeegee out air bubbles to be used for each installation. But the nicest thing included is the plastic guide frame that snaps over the top of the phone, and allows you to perfectly center the screen protector. Using the guide frame you cannot install the protector too far to one side or the other, which is quite important with some protective cases that come quite close to the screen protector. I easily installed 2 protectors on 2 iPhone 8 phones this morning, with little issue. The first protector at first didn't seem to suck down to the glass like I've experienced with these types of items in the past. I ended up getting a 1/4" sized bubble just below the ear speaker. Using the plastic squeegee did not help at first. I ended up having to use a great deal of pressure on the protector using the rigid squeegee wrapped in the microfiber cloth. I can attest to the fact that the squeegee is extremely rigid and did not bend like others have in the past. After a few attempts, I was able to get that big bubble to move up to the ear speaker cutout, and it was gone. I used a good amount of force...enough that I was afraid of damaging the screen protector or possibly the phone's screen, but everything held together with no damage. The second installation on the other iPhone 8 went flawlessly. After a good cleaning of the screen, I popped on the frame and laid the protector into the frame. I slight touch in the center of the protector caused it to suck right down onto the screen perfectly. I've used some other brands where there were bubbles along the edges of the glass as if they didn't really follow the contours of the screen. With these, there were no bubbles. Everything is shaped properly for a seamless fit. All in all, I would not buy any other vendor's product for iPhone 7 or 8, as the kit was comprehensive, the quality of all items was quite good, and the price was hard to beat for enough to do 4 devices. Even if the price were a bit higher, I still think this would be a great deal!!!

I was initially very happy to have bought my iPhone screen covers from FlexGear. They seemed reputable and had good reviews.Install of the screen protector was also very easy.However, when my phone dropped from my hand at waist height onto my bathroom floor, the entire phone screen cracked, see pictures. Upon inspection, you can see that the screen protector itself is perfectly fine!This is a fundamental design flaw with the screen protector. The screen protector is supposed to get scratched up or break, NOT your phone screen itself. These screen protectors cost me the price of buying them from FlexGear, plus $150 to get the screen fixed at Apple!Trying to reach out to FlexGear's customer service at their Contact Us page also generates a basic message with "Error!" and no other response. I'd love to like these screens, but if they don't break, but my phone breaks, then why even bother using them at all?

While the protectors come with an alignment tool/cover there is a bit of a trick as it still runs a risk of dust getting between the glass and the protector. One added bonus is, at least for me, I was able to remove the protector as it caught on the lip of the applicator tool and I could use the dust remover sticker and get the particles that got trapped.

We'll see how well they last ...

These protect your screen well .. however they chip and crack easily. Great value for the three protectors. After putting one on and it cracking that evening I decided to get the full cover protectors.
