Fair Critical Review: Not best for curved surfaces but in the end worked for me.
Suctions cups on curved surface:suctions cups on flat surface: 🌟 🌟 🌟Shade itself: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟The shade is a nice thick fabric and blocks the light.The suction cups are adequate for flat skylight/surface. So I do believe they would work if your skylight has flat glass (as tested by my bathroom mirror) but I am not convinced as to how long. Mainly because they also include 6 sticky velcrow strips that I assume is your alternative when the suction cups just are not working. These cups WILL NOT work if your skylight is curved.Hey but its nice that they offer so many different sizes so buying this was still useful for me just because of the fit. I bought 6 dry-wall screw-in hooks and kind of rigged it up my own way. Little light coming through because of the drooping because of the hook nature (see image) but overall has reduced the glaring light and heat in my bedroom.The oddest thing though is the 1month ship time? I know that isn't about the product but took a long time it seems just to get this simple stuff 🧐

Blackout canvas is nice sturdy material
Velcro strips aren't strong enough to hold shade to the window, kept finding it on the floor. Suction cups don't work either. Hot sun makes them fall off too. Nice blackout canvas, just need to find a better solution to hold it in place.

Amazon is refunding my money.
This is a very well made product but the suction cups will not hold on my skylights due to there is a curve in the skylights. I did try them on our sliding door and the suction cups worked perfect.

These Work!
I love my skylights in my patio room but they make the room very, very hot! I purchased these shades because they looked simple to install and the size was very close to what I needed. Easy, easy installation. Just place the suction cups and attach the shade with the cap nut. Done! These have reduced the temperature at least 10 degrees and helped with light control as well. The shades are made well so I expect them to last a few years! Thank you, Liveinu, for the great product! One tip: do not install these in the middle of the day -- it's hot up in the skylight!! :}

Requires slight modification when installing it.
It keeps out the sun rays quite nicely if it stays put. We had to "hack" the setup though because the suction cups kept falling of. We replaced them with simple suction hooks from Daiso.

Great product - SLOW to ship.
The product is perfect for our kitchen skylight. Was displeased that the company charged us more than 2 weeks prior to shipping the item.

Doesn't block 100%
This is advertised to block sunlight 100% and it doesn't. I would say that it blocks 95%. The suction cups are a nice function and price is very economical. I'd recommend as I haven't been able to find a cheaper option to block the sunlight.

Could be better.
I expected better, the screen is not 100% blackout and there are small patches where the screen has gaps. Order took a few weeks to arrive.
