Breaker 1p 20a Afgf Dual Func

I changed my entire residence over to these AFCI/GFCI breakers. They are not cheap, but the protection against fire and electrocution is tremendous. I especially like the indicator lights, which flash one of 5 codes upon fault.They will not work if you have a shared neutral (i.e., two breakers that share a common return neutral wire).In my entire house only one circuit could not accept this breaker. It returned a GFCI fault, so I will need to track that down later. Until then, I installed an AFCI-only breaker on that circuit. (It does provide a lower level of GFCI protection.)

Breaker in panel was bigger. Called Eaton Customer support to ask if this was acceptable. They said YES. The larger one was an older package they made for a certain box. But this smaller one will fit & perform exactly the same.

Finally they made this the size of a normal breaker. I love having GFCI and AFCI protection for the past it’s prime 50’s wiring on my home, for the whole circuit and without expensive outlet units strewn throughout the house. A+

Good replacement and easy install

Just a breaker. Fits fine in my box. Put this in for our chicken coop circuit. No more worries about electrical fires and crispy chickens!

Installed with no issues. Tested breaker and it tripped when we grounded the hot.
