I bought this to replace a laptop charger we lost, and it’s a great product.As aftermarket chargers go, the quality of this one is almost manufacturer grade, the laptop end plug is very sturdy and fits the laptop perfectly. It’s just a fraction of the cost compared to the OEM version and is very quick at charging.

Like Ronseal does what its supposed to do
I have a HP Pavilion laptop and use it for business, to my horror, I found my laptop going flat and the charger that came with the laptop was not charging the laptop. I searched my existing surplus chargers and charging jacks for a spare, but discovered HP have made the charging jack plug for the Pavilion different to most charging jacks in common use. The Pavilion jack has a small centre pin inside the jack barrel which most jacks do not have. I found the centre pin on my charger had bent off centre and was not engaging in the charger socket on the Pavilion, fortunately I managed with care to straighten it, and my charger was charging my laptop again. But I realised without a working charger the Pavilion is just a desk-weight, so to Amazon I sought, I was hoping this charger would be compatible with the Pavilion with that important centre pin, and so it does. I now have a spare Pavilion charger for under £20 and that is my insurance for the day my existing charger gives up the ghost, if it ever does, but I can assure readers the advertised charger does fit the HP Pavilion laptop, and works as advertised. Good delivery service too, came within two days

Died after 3 months
This seems like a really great value proposition. Until it pops your circuit breaker, and your charger completely breaks. As mine did.As the idiom goes, "buy cheap, buy twice."In this case, I bought twice. The second time being a genuine HP replacement. Regardless of the overall quality of HP, it's certainly guaranteed that their chargers will last longer than 3 months.Avoid.
