Decent movie with Blu-ray and DVD Packing (DVD consists some Bonus, Included Indian Languages)
The Wolverine (3D) Note: Above Rating is for Packing and Content, not for Movie. My Rating for Movie : 2.7/5 (Average)*** This review may contain spoilers ***Wolverine, Samurai, Asian Women (Beautiful Women), Fantasy, Train Fight, 3D effects and with DTS-HD MA 7.1 still Movie is not upto the Mark I expected. It's enjoyable but it's sad to see our Hero gets kicked majority of the time than his Best we have seen in previous movies. During Train Fight scene audio dynamics is brilliant.Disc Packing info:As usual contains single DiscVideoCodec: MPEG-4 MVC (35.69 Mbps)Resolution: 1080pAspect ratio: 2.40:1Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1AudioEnglish: DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 (48kHz, 24-bit)English: Dolby Digital 2.0 (224 kbps)Hindi : Dolby Digital 5.1Telugu : Dolby Digital 5.1Tamil : Dolby Digital 5.1Subs: English, Hindi, Tamil, TeluguRegion : A & C (Not Region Free)Regards,AVBuff™ (Audio/Video Fan)

This is not a review of the 3D version, just the "unleashed" extended cut
To be totally honest, I bought this purely for the extended cut of the film so I can't review the 3D version because I've never watched it.But speaking of the extended cut all I can say is; This is how this film was meant to be seen, it's still not perfect but it is definitely superior to the theatrical version. More action, more blood, more swearing, but most importantly, more character building. The story is pretty much the same but a few elements are explored a little more that help the pacing and help you get a little more invested. If I had to rate them, I'd give the theatrical cut 6/10, the unleashed cut gets 8/10.The set includes the theatrical version in 2D & 3D. The extended cut is only in 2D.Thankfully all three versions have their own disk, meaning there are no side effects on picture or audio quality from over-compressing 3 films onto 1 diskhighly recommend this set to x-men/action film fans

For anyone who enjoyed the Wolverine but hasn't seen the Extended edition cut ...
For anyone who enjoyed the Wolverine but hasn't seen the Extended edition cut of this film or the "UNLEASHED EXTENDED EDITION" as they call it, or anyone who hasnt seen the theatrical relese altogether please do yourself a favour and grab a copy of this, you won't be disappointed. There isn't hours of extra footage like say The Lord of the Rings extended editions however in my opinion I feel like this version adds so much more weight to the film and helps to flesh of some scenes and characters. If you were one of those people *SPOILER ALERT* who wasn't happy because Wolverine doesn't really fight any of the ninjas like in the comics, you will hopefully be happy with this cut, I won't spoil it too much for you. There are a few other scenes like this one as well that make you wonder why in God's holy name did they cut this from the movie. There is also an alternative ending to this film that would have been far more entertaining and a really nice nod to the comics if they had used it instead of the rather boring one they ended up sticking with.I thoroughly enjoyed this cut of the movie, give it a try and I'm 99% confident you will feel the same

An X-men Film Like No Other
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I am a massive Marvel fan and did enjoy the original X-Men trilogy (and to an extent even Origins: Wolverine) however this instalment is so different and fresh that I'd go as far as to say it is the best of the series so far.Unlike the others it doesn't have a massive emphasis on the mutants and the whole war with humanity, but instead nicely tells the story of how Wolverine deals with the events of X-Men: The Last Stand. I enjoyed his character development throughout and loved the way they tied this into the upcoming Days of Future Past.I only gave this a 4/5 because as much as I enjoyed the story I do think that some parts of the film tended to be a little too slow.I would highly recommend this to X-Men and comic book fans alike.

Okay
Its okay.Always liked Hugh Jackman and found him the perfect fit for Wolverine but I find this sort of "bloodless" violence type film not one thing or another.I know they want it to be for Kids as they want it to be seen by as many people as possible and I am not posting this as an advocate for increased violence in films but if you have a film in which many people get killed/injured you cant always make that child friendly and bloodless as it becomes unrealistic and very samey. I think Wolverine is a gritty character but that grittiness is diluted by the need for the right rating and box office success. So far as the story goes its okay - hence the rating

Great movie... disappointing Blu-Ray
As a Wolverine fan of many years, I absolutely loved this movie. It's a great reworking of the Claremont/Miller Japan story arc and an interesting look at the character of Wolverine. However.. the Blu-Ray (and the DVD, for that matter) release is somewhat disappointing. It is extremely thin on extras. I'm not sure I've ever bought a movie DVD/Blu-Ray with so few extras. And both the movie itself and the Blu-Ray release leave me wondering what on earth happened to the explosive (literally) footage from the village fight scene that was included in all the movie trailers (and presumably cost quite a bit to film) and yet was not in either the cinematic or DVD/Blu-Ray release of the movie, not even in the (very limited) extra features.
