This was not expensive, and the quality was very good. But, the coolest part was the insert with detailed instructions and alot of really interesting extra information! It's nice to find a company that still cares and provides extras for free!

I have a first gear thermosuit and the bottom zipper popped off a long time ago. The slidder worked great but the stops wouldn't fit. I improvised with zip ties, like a real motorcycle rider. Overall, I'm thrilled I don't have to buy a new suit.

Great quality, good selection and easy to attach. I have an message chair, the total support area the body is on it held together with a zipper. I had to un-zip the material to make a repair. The zipper was very difficult to un-zip and soon the pull broke and had to be removed. I now had a $1000 piece of nothing. I took the change and ordered repair kit after reading all the good reviews. Well, it took approx five minutes to pick the correct pull and attach it. It was very difficult getting it to zip, not due to the pull but how tight the zipper was installed on the chair. The instructions were good except I had to destroy the stop on the zipper to get the pull on. In the instructions there was no instruction on how to install the stop. My wife being a sound mind, took a needle and tread and created what was needed. I will never again try to un-zip this chair, yet I am so glad this kit did what it promised to do.

I had one of the most amazingly good customer service experiences of my life with Zipper Rescue. I am still amazed how much help was provided, and promptly for such an inexpensive item that saved me a lot of money and time. I do not know much about zippers, but since the grass catcher bag for my lawn mower is no longer being made I really wanted to fix the zipper on old one. So searching on the web I found this product on Amazon and ordered it. I did not know that you need different types of zipper sliders for nylon versus other types of zippers, but in the little kit were some pretty good instructions and their website which also has some how-to videos. At first I could not get it to work, so I sent an email via the website around 9:00 pm and figured maybe I might get some feedback or suggestions. The owner of the company actually emailed me back that night. I sent a picture, he emailed again, that night, I counted teeth per inch, and pretty quickly he helped me figure out exactly what I needed to order that night. It worked, my bag is fixed, grass is not getting in my pool, and no need to get a whole new mower just to have a grass bag that works.

I tried ordering the regular clothing one since I've got two hoodies that needed a new slide. Wasn't sure on size but, hey, clothing so, figured it would work. And it didn't. Doesn't come with the right sizes.Found out I needed a #8 and #5. Found those and the ones for plastic zippers (which I found out I needed) all in the Moto kit. Fixed one jacket. The 2nd, I've got to now order another kit because this doesn't come with something for the insertion pin, which broke trying to get the new zipper on.Ultimately spending over $20 now for something that should have only cost $10 to fix. Honestly, not worth it. The cheap chinese kits may get sizes wrong sometimes according to reviews but, I'd give them a shot as long as they come with everything you need. Not impressed by this kit. Lacking basic parts? Been in business since 93? Really?If this has exactly what you want and you want to support US made, fine. It does have good YKK parts, I'll give it that much. I'm just not feeling it due to lack of other parts. Fixing the zipper, pretty easy. I don't know how people can't figure it out. Literally 10 seconds and a youtube link is all you need. Better than written instructions.

I mistakenly bought a cheaper zipper fix kit elsewhere. I could've shredded my dollars for what I got out of that cheap plastic kit. The zipper would just open up and pop off the zipper teeth with one gentle pull. NOT worth it. THIS kit, however, has metal pulls, metal stops, and quality pieces in general. I was able to put a new zipper on an great jacket and save the jacket. The jacket was in perfect shape, except for the zipper pull. This kit will pay for itself - actually, it already has. There's a reason it says "Zipper Repair Kit, Moto" as it has the type of pulls that would match zippers for heavier-duty fabrics and zippers. The zipper pulls come in various sizes and colors, although most are dark or black in color. There are zipper stops (both sides) are included as well, though I usually find that I have a broken zipper pull or zipper teeth before a stopper comes off. That said, it's a nice addition to this zipper fix pack. It states that you can use needlenose pliers to get a zipper pull on or off. I didn't have to; I just worked my new zipper pull onto the teeth and I was done.There is not much in the way of directions, but if you can figure out how to get the zipper on the zipper teeth, you're in great shape. Repair accomplished.

Just want to add that the Moto set is the one you want for non-leather bags too. I couldn't figure out if I should get the Clothing set since it lists purses or this one, even though it doesn't list larger bags. The bag I needed it for is a travel bag, kinda like a soft briefcase or small laptop bag. Would probably also work for backpacks. Anyway, I ordered the right set, and it had everything I needed in it because the zipper pull and stopper were both missing on the bag. Easy to install and good price too!

If you are having a difficult time with a zipper that has plastic teeth like you may want to consider whether you want a vision slider or these ones with the "D" on them that are marked for plastic teeth.Zipper sliders are very proprietary and a kit that covered all possible zippers would be huge.The instructions are very helpful.

I had this zipper problem for a long time and tried all means to get it fixed at a low cost. Tried repairing the old zipper but it totally gave way and even tried other DIY, which guarantee that it works. But none of these could solve my problem, especially it’s a leather riding jacket.Purchase it and got it within days, watched their YouTube on changing the zipper. It’s less than 10 mins and my jacket came to life! The zipper works wonderfully and felt just like new again!Awesome product!
