Methven Rua High-Pressure Handheld Shower Head with Hose, Polished Chrome, Water Saving & High-Pressure Spray Technology, 1 Setting, 10" Long

I have gone though 6 different plastic handheld sprayers from waterpik, to no name brands I stumbled across. Every single one of them I spent less than 50 dollars on. They were all plastic, they all developed leaks after about a year or two of use. All of them were 2.5gpm flow. I noticed the 2 head systems really use more water, and I'd run out of hot water on winter months. Since I've received this showhead, I've never run out of hotwater during a shower, even during cold nights. It's flow is slightly less than 2.5, but feels like more coverage and pressure than any of the other showerheads I've purchased - it covers my entire back easily. The one thing I noticed, is that the head makes the water droplets so small that it creates more steam in my bathroom more quickly than other shower heads. I love this fact, because it really helps clear my sinuses, and makes me feel so much more refreshed after the shower (shower bombs are quite awesome with it) The extra water droplets look like a mist setting on the other heads, but the mist doesn't sting like a lot of the other head's mist settings did. It does produce more vapor, but it's not a big issue, since I live in Colorado where we have about 20% humidity on average - but if you live in a very humid spot, the extra steam/condensation may create issues. The only downside is the lack of settings, you just get one, but to be honest, i don't really miss any of the other 4-7 settings the other heads had besides the water-saving setting where you can get all sudsy without wasting a bunch of water. But the fact this head uses less water/minute kind of makes up for that fact. Really does a good job of washing hair, and at the end of the shower washing my face, i don't even need to wipe away any suds, the coverage from this head does a great job washing off soap for having less gpm. It's very lightweight, but according to manufacturer, it's not plastic. It definitely looks like metal from a distance, but you can feel the difference. Even though it's light, I've dropped it and it's swung and smashed against my tub several times with no damage whatsoever, so definitely more sturdy than the plastic ones that's happened to, and they've shattered. Such a unique design, being eco friendly, along with having the best pressure/coverage ratio to length of shower, has justified the price in my eyes.

So I do t want to repeat all the reviews so I will skip how much I love it and,instead, address some comments previously made.1- Water Pressure - yes, is has excellent water pressure, if you turn a regular shower head upside down and let the stream flow directly upward it goes, maybe, if you’re lucky, a foot or so. If you did that with the shower head you would be washing your ceiling. However, it’s a different design, more like a sprinkler head kind of high water pressure versus a massaging pounding kind of water pressure. I hope that clears it up for you and helps you choose.2- Plastic- it is extremely lightweight and most likely the showerhead itself is made of plastic however I do not think that automatically equals cheap, the hose it comes with is extremely well-made as well as the connector to the pipe which is metal. I believe I love it light weight. It makes it easier for the kids to use. Also there are no adjustments the showerhead is what it is there’s no settings or anything like that it’s simplicity itself which I like.3-blanket of water? I wouldn’t describe it like that. It’s more like water just magically seems to come from everywhere. At first I was like OK nice shower, but the longer I stayed in there the more I realized how much I love it. I don’t know how it happens perhaps steam, but water just seems to be everywhere. Also, there is just more water. WhatI mean is, there is more water in contact with your skin. I think it’s in the preview when they talk about denser water droplets. It does rinse out my hair extremely fast especially conditioner which likes to hold onto my type of hair. I was extremely impressed.I was on the fence about buying this because of the price and for the reasons above. I do not regret this purchase at all. For reference I purchased the handheld only. It came with handheld hose and attachment. Very easy to install. All you really need is plumber tape I don’t even think you need a wrench unless your old showerhead is super stuck.

Truthfully, I bought this for the design more than anything else, and I didn't actually expect much. I would have been happy had it just sprayed water. But it has the most lovely water spray! Forceful but soft (if that makes ANY sense at all...) with a wiode spray that feels terrific.It was extremely easy to install. I just put the head on my existing hose. (I did swap out a washer, though, to make the fitting a Biot more secure. It was strictly a personal preference).I think it is slightly overpriced, so that's why I deducted a star for "value". Other than that five stars all the way!

Love this shower head!Yes it feels "cheap" as it is made from Aerospace Polymers or something (aka plastic to most of us) but with its lifetime warranty I'll trust that it is durable enough. Yes, it is expensive relative to other showerheads that are a single spray option (no aqua-massage options) BUT does it deliver! We love the spray ... I was worried with the "needle" spray design and lots of water pressure that actual spray would hurt but not at all! It is soft and luxurious as the video proclaims. If there was one thing I would change, it would be to add a model with a larger diameter showerheade ... this one is maybe 5" and would love to have had it more in the 8" extra large size.

It works really well. I have the square shower head already and had to add the round head to the bath tub head. I love it, and a real water saver

It works really well. I just wish the instructions contained all the parts that were included. Still easy enough to install though. I like the spray and coverage.

Well designed. Sprays like a rainforest mist. Had no issues with water pressure. Didn’t like that the shower head was polycarbonate for the price. Connectors are the same. Be careful not to break connectors while installing
