KGS 6 inch Nylon Zippers for sewing crafts | 20 pcs/pack (Black)

I needed 5 zippers and this pack of 20 was a good deal. I *always* read comments before purchasing, and I noticed a few said they received zippers that didn't work. I tested every zipper when I received them; all of them worked, although 2 of them did not zip as smoothly as the others. I'm saving those for emergency mending or maybe a stuffed animal project or something - or maybe I won't use them at all, since I rarely use zippers. But 18 smooth zippers for this price is still a good deal, and I'm very happy with what I got.

Now that my smart phone has become my constant companion, I needed a practical bag -- low profile with the option to wear either as a cross-body or around the hips, lightweight and unobtrusive (no one should tote more weight than necessary), and protects its contents — smart phone, keys, ID or credit cards.(Wait for it — I’ll get to the zippers shortly.) Mom came up with a design that uses two (2) 6-inch zippers for each smart phone bag (see photo). She blew through the 20 I bought her; yup, she made 10 bags, just like that; and has asked for more. I will order more. They are the right size for DIY smart phone bags. Mom and I highly recommend these zippers.

I get these for what I make in my small business. And they’ve always worked great. I’ve never had an issue.

Bought these looking for dark gray, like the picture shows. What I got is a very light gray, almost like a silver.

I've been an Amazon customer for a long time. At least 15 years and this is the first time I've been this aggravated about a purchase.When I received these zippers, about an hour ago, the first thing I noticed upon opening the package was the heavy odor of factory oil/grease. Not that big of a deal to me if the odor can be washed out. But once I took them out of the packaging I saw that they were all zipped about 3/4 of the way up the ribbon. Want to know why? Because that's as far as they can go! I started examining them and found that some type of plastic fibers are sticking out from in between the little pieces of the teeth. That's what is stopping the zippers from sliding all the way up to the zipper stops. They're really hard to see but they're there. I had to put on my reading glasses to even see them. So, after examining the entire batch, I have only 2 out of the 20 zippers that I can even use! Seriously?! I'm starting my return as soon as I'm finished posting this review.
