It is a very good product. My 14 year old son loves to do pull-ups on it. But the safest length is just one meter. I had to add 1 inch wooden blocks on either side to make it fit in the passage. Ideally they should give options of 1.2, 1.5 mere also.

Pros: Rubber grips are appreciable.Cons: Variable width mechanism is not perfect: If you swing while hanging, the plastic rings inside the ends of the center bar comes off. The rod becomes unstable and falls down, It could fall on your head, or worse a person could fall down.. resulting in injury. You need to be watchful and tighten it, repeatedly.

U can not trust on standard mechanism of fixing the bar. Bar is strong but fixing mechanism does not give any confidence that it can hold more than 30-40 kg without falling. I made one extra holes both sides and added nails.. company must think about adding mechanics of adding wall fastner for those who want sturdy and strong holding of bar.

I could easily fix the pull Up bar to my wooden door. Feels firm and stable.

I fixed the bar with provided supports.Good -- Easy to install. Just need a drill and a screwdriver. Took 15 mins to install.- Strong, easily took my 72kgs weight and didn't move at all. I am sure it can take more.- Foam grips are goodNot so good -- I wish the foam grips were adjustable. They are fixed. I like to do wider pull ups.- Saw a little bit of rust on one cornerOverall very happy with the purchase. Solid bar.

The product page says the weight capacity is 136 kgsThe product packaging states the weight as only 100 kgs.The description given by the seller is misleadingHowever, the product is decent and I tried to do pull ups on it. But after reading the weight bearing capacity I am now scared to go all out as I weight a little more than 100 kgs.

I bought this product for my kids , I placed the bar between my door frames and it was tight and perfect, I even load tested it myself , but unfortunately the bar lost grip when my elder kid (12 years old-50kg) was doing pull ups and my kid fell on the floor on his buttocks resulting in grade 3 sacrum fracture and on complete bed rest, I am really regretful to buy such a product which lacks the basic safety of gripping, on investigation I found that the grip gets loose as the palms are curled on the bar, requesting seller to please incorporate it with proper racheting device / locking along with proper instructions for securing ,also requesting young kids to stay away from such products and rather go to parks or gyms.Otherwise the bar quality and built is sturdy and attractive.
