Decent pillow, just not right for me.
I've been searching for a travel pillow for long plane or car rides where I can't recline much or lean my head on something. I used this pillow in conjunction with a circular neck pillow for a middle seat plane ride, together they gave me the support. I've yet to find the perfect pillow that does the trick for me, three stars is for that reason. However, the product itself was constructed well, and I loved the compact design and portability. The eye cover part was also a bit long for me, and covered my nose, was a little uncomfortable to breathe.

I agree with other reviews: Tight fit on the head
I can't remember how I first heard about this product. I bought the travel halo for a 17 hour flight from the U.S. to the Middle East. Before I purchased the product, I was curious how it would keep my neck up since it does not appear to offer any neck support. It didn't keep my neck up. Also, it was tight on my head after a while, like some of the other reviews mentioned. This product is not so expensive so i guess I got what I paid for. However, the next time I have a lengthy flight, I will look into spending about ten bucks more for either Kuhi comfort travel pillow or comfy commuter travel pillow.

Not for people with slippery hair
Ok I don't know if it cause I'm short and have slippery straight hair, but this thing wouldn't stay in place. The seat head rest is right at the right angle to push the head band out of place. If it stayed in place the eye shield would work great. Maybe the side stablizers aren't big enough because I didn't feel so stablized. I would have like this idea to have worked, maybe I give to a guy with short hair or curly hair.

Not Adjustable
I have not actually used this yet; just tried it on. It is a little tight around my head and not adjustable. Any added discomfort whatsoever in an already uncomfortable circumstance (i.e., a plane seat) is obviously not desirable. Seems odd that someone went to great lengths to increase comfort during travel but overlooked this one important part.

Tight fit, but usable.
The compact size is handy, but the halo fits very tightly which makes it a little uncomfortable. With time it may stretch out and feel better. The head support is comfortable for facing forward only. I have been able to sleep while using it.

Great for airline travel.
i bought this for my son for his trip to Africa. Though, because he has a bigger head it wasn't it a perfect fit, he found it very comfortable and liked the mask to block out the light. Also he liked that it was compact and had its own little bag for packing away when not using it.

Poor design
Very weak design. Over priced. First, you cannot adjust tension in headband -- it's too tight. Second, the limp flap that flops down to cover your eyes does not really cover them very well. Third the large, unadjustable foam bumps on the back of the headband work "OK" (not great) to hold your head in place, but are somewhat uncomfortable and make it bulky.

Total waste of money.
I wanted to love this product but it is terrible in so many ways. It has two pads in the back of it to hold your head straight but they can give you a headache. If you slide it it either falls down or then doesn't work. It completely messes up your hair and doesn't really keep the light out. You must sit straight up if you want the back pads to work. I love love love the Kuhi Comfort which my husband purchased.
