I have bought dash cameras before and there has always been an issue with either the picture quality, the instructions being impossible to understand or cables that do not reach and have plugs and connectors that need a massive hole in the bodywork to feed through. Not so with this set up. The camera fits perfectly over the rear view mirror with the 2 rubber straps provided and simply plugs into a cigarette lighter. It comes on immediately power is switched on and the menu is easy to read on the touchscreen. The rear camera fits easily above the rear number plate and there is ample cable to reach the camera. Mine is fitted in a VW T5 camper and reached easily so no problem for a saloon car.The main picture on the camera is the forward view with a small rear view in the top right hand corner, This can be changed to any combination of large, small, front or back views on the menu. The screen can also be locked into any view you want.I connected he red wire to the reversing light live cable, as instructed, and when reverse is selected the small thumbprint rear view takes over the whole screen automatically with warning bars to judge distances to objects.The camera needs an SD card of 32GB, for memory recording, which has to be bought separately. However, this is quite normal as I have never received a phone or tablet yet which has them supplied free of charge.Overall, this is a fantastic camera for the price and was a pleasure to install.

This arrived within 2 days of ordering well packaged, and first of all I must say the instructions are well put together and easy to read and understand. the dash mirror was easier to fit that expected and so easy to use, it is touch screen and also voice control the screen display is very clear, the actual mirror is so clear and I could not believe how impressed I am with this mirror, the cable is long enough and is now hidden, and what I really like is you would not know I had a camera in the car from the outside, you get a wide view of what is in front a very good wide angle view, it is solid and does not move and the picture quality is amazing, no blurring or buffing so clear and sharp. I can not recommend this mirror enough. I was offered this at a discount to give and honest review, and to be honest I was not expecting to be raving about it as much as I am, if anyone has any doubt about this, you really need to try it you will not be disappointed such a fab piece of kit, well done guys it is superb. I have already shown other family members and am telling them they really need on of these. they are impressed !!

Extremely pleased with this camera, the only issue I would have is that it's design is best made for cars in America, as the camera is on the left. The wide angle does help this issue, just expect more viewing on your passenger side.

Was hesitant to buy at first due to the price being so low, as i thought it may have been cheap & bad quality however it has far exceeded my expectations.It was relatively easy to setup, basically plug and play the wires are long so there's plenty of space to tuck away behind your panels/fabric. The rear view camera comes with an adhesive strip which helps you securely place the camera. The dashcam itself is secured onto the mirror by rubber clamps which allow it to be easily adjusted at any point or taken off if required.I have now been using the dashcam for the past 3 days and it's been leaps and bounds better than any other dashcam i've used. The UI (user interface) is simple and easy to navigate, allowing you to quickly change between front view & rear view mode. The display on the screens great and the image quality is superb, easily visible at night and during the day as the mirror's slightly tinted.Overall great dash cam at an extremely low price, highly recommended!

Update May 2023This has now stopped working.. So frustrating.. First the back camera stopped, now the whole thing is switching off. I've tried various power supplies to check that, but it's definitely the camera, really cross.This really is an amazing quality camera... It has taken a while to set up as we had a lot of problems attaching the rear camera cable... To do with my car, not the product. I will say the cable supplied was not long enough, my car is 15 ft long so I emailed seller and they sent a longer one from China.. It worked a treat. I'm impressed with the camera picture quality front and back.. Seller is awesome.. Thoroughly recommend.

The image is good by day but poor at night, could do with a wider angle camera.

Although the instructions are minimal for installing into the car, it is intuitive as to how to install and I am an over 60 female. Having said that, I have not installed the rear camera yet, I have had no issues with the time stamp disappearing when switched off, and have set the gsensor and when I thumped the door, I heard it power up. While the instructions show a left hand drive car, I found that it did not matter which side the camera was placed on the original mirror, because of the wide angle shots. I have only given stars for ease of installing because of the minimal instructions and the photo instructions being so small, especially for older eyes!! Also because I have not yet installed the rear camera, as was not so confident in doing that one without help. Picture quality is good, sound quality is also good. Also a great price compared to others. Well done.

Purchased at Christmas, installed 32gb card. Appeared to work great but after checking recording after 2 weeks I found it only recorded the first 3 days use with a full memory card thereafter. No auto overwrite or message stating memory card full. Item returned.
