I really wanted to love this alarm clock after searching for one with all of the features I wanted (dimmable display, sunrise wake, easy on/off alarm, gentle wake sounds). This alarm clock had all of these features and all perform fine with the exception of the intensity of the “sunrise”. For example, we set our alarms for 6:30am. At 6am on day one both my husband and I were startled out of sleep by what felt like a flood light in our eyes (this was only 10% brightness according to the manual). I couldn’t figure out a way to make it stop (turning the alarm off didn’t work, snoozing didn’t work, even unplugging it didn’t work thanks to the battery backup). I ended up turning it facedown and covering it with a pillow. Day two I didn’t wake until 6:12am which let me sleep a tad bit later than the first day but again couldn’t find a way to dim this light as it gradually increased. I want to wake gently at the time my alarm is set for and not lose sleep by being shocked out of bed early. Here I was, wide awake and decided to let it go until 6:30 to hear the actual alarm. As the sunrise gradually increased in brightness from 10% to 100% we were both laughing at how painfully bright the light was. I could barely look at the light as I walked over to turn off the gentle alarm sound going off. Like I said, I wanted to love it but sadly this light which is brighter than the actual sun itself is going back.

Bought this for my little early riser. It is usually dark when we get up for school so the fact that it woke him up gently with light worked great and then soothing music or sounds to coax him out of bed. He also loved the night light colors. Tested it over Christmas break with great success. First day of school... no noise at the alarm time and he fell back asleep. Second day of school, same thing! I cannot get it to play the included tunes anymore and the radio is unreliable in that room. Now it is useless as the alarm we bought it for.

Nice looking light, but lighting g feature stopped working less than a year. Our daughter tried it for a couple weeks then didn’t use anymore. I then went to try it 8 months later and wake lighting no longer works.Nice idea, but not quality enough to even last a year with almost no use.

Worked great and no issues. It actually wakes me up. Only thing to consider is the loght comes on 20 mins before the sound alarm and gets brighter over time. I would get woken up 15 mjns before the alarm. No big deal.

Bought one for myself and for all the kids. Its slightly confusing to work because I only glanced at the directions but I really like this thing and the options it has. Attractive and very useful.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She used it for two weeks and it stopped working. Won’t charge or work with batteries. Don’t waste your money!!I am happy to report that after reading my review the company sent me a working replacement and all is well! My daughter was very happy!

Helps me to wake up in a good mood

Works great! My only issue is that it’s topheavy and occasionally falls on its face if you bump it. Everything works as described, and I really like it for the price.
