Here in Northern Nevada, we are able to play golf during the winter (when no snow is on the ground) but one thing we have to deal with is frozen ground on the Tee Box. This product is the best thing I have found to solve the problem of not being able to get a Tee into the ground to put your Golf Ball on to tee off with Driver/3 wood or Irons. You can push it into the ground to the depth you want (just make sure you place the point of the ice pick beside the little hole you made so you can find it to put the tee in) for your Woods or irons. In addition, when you have your ball on the tee you can screw the ice pick back into other piece and place it in your pocket without having to worry about making a hole in the pocket. I have had it for several years now and it works great.

Great icepick. Feels good in hand. Only small complaint is wish handle and cap where different sizes to differenciate body from cap. So you know which end the pick is on.

For the price especially, they are very good, does the job, But, the cap is very wobbly on 2 of the 3. I still gave it 5 stars due such a great price for 3, and the ice pick it self is great.

The ice pick cover had an oily substance in it, I used a tiny straw cleaning brush and dishwashing detergent to clean the cover.The ice pick and cover are a nice and safe addition to my kitchen tools. The cover makes this tool safe for Carrying on outings and other places that an ice pick may be needed.

Very well made and goes through ice easily. Only concern is if replacing the pick in the sheath after using may result in rust. No problem so far. Also great for making holes in plastic and cardboard boxes for air or liquid. I use recycled material as seed germinators and these picks are great for letting water out of the containers.Also great that you get three picks so I can designate one for this alternative purpose, one for ice and one as a spare.
