I needed to provide lighting for a lamp I made for a desk. I had limited space, and needed a socket style that was one step smaller than a conventional bulb. The E17 base was perfect size, and these sockets were easy to mount inside of the lamp shade.The sockets seem well made, and they did not scrimp on the gauge and quality of the wire. I am using LED bulbs, so the wire was more than adequate for the minimum current draw that LED's pull.Great price, and great quality.

These worked perfectly for my project. With these I was able to more than double the intensity of light on my microwave oven over my range top. Since the newer LED bulbs consume much less power, it was safe to use the existing wiring with a little modification and a custom bracket made from a small mending plate. See the photos. The brown one was the old one, and the black ones are the new ones. Rotating the orientation of the bulbs also allowed me to use larger, brighter bulbs. Very pleased!

Used these to rewire a light for a stove top. The old socket used the 7.5w incandescent bulbs that are getting more difficult to find and burn out faster than LED bulbs. Needed the E17 socket for the LED bulbs that fit a microwave surface light; so have basically standardized all bulbs in all appliances.

My new microwave only had a single light bulb in it. As with another reviewer, I replaced the single lamp with two LED lamps using these sockets. Much brighter now!

Used these to replace bulb sockets in a Frigidare microwave and they were an exact fit. You only have to hard wire them in instead of using the connectors .

I utilized this intermediate base socket as replacements for moisture deteriorated bases metal screw socket portion, in Helicopter Pad Landing Light fixtures.The non-corrosive phenolic base socket screw portion, applied dielectric grease to single metal contact points for lamp side & base, improve extending the maintenance period of these fixtures.
