ACDelcoGM Genuine Parts 12690512 Vapor Canister Purge Valve

OEM purge valve canister replacement solved the issue my 2010 Cadillac SRX was having. After I would put gas in my car, it was hard to restart. The check engine light came on and I took it to Autozone and they checked the codes. I found this OEM part for just a few dollars more than after market ones, AND received it the same day I placed the order! My neighbor installed it in about 20 minutes after watching a YouTube video. The only tools needed, a flat head screwdriver and a 10mm socket. Highly recommend! Thank you Amazon!

This is an OEM item for my wife’s 2015 GMC Acadia. Car had a hard time starting after getting fuel and ended up being this purge valve. In this model vehicle it was super easy to install. Fit perfect and seems to work great. The car had been work perfect ever since. I’ve bought some not so great car parts from Amazon sellers but this is not one of them. Highly recommend this item.

I was getting a persistent pending P0497 low purge flow error even after replacing the purge value twice after repeated test on the evap system showed no leaks. Also, the Evap monitor would not clear. I had tried the most expensive Bosch purge valve I could get, still didn't help. Finally, I tired this GM certified part and that fixed it! Error gone and monitor set.

2010 Chevy Traverse failed the Texas emission test so pulled the codes and it was throwing a P0443 (Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit). Easy install, cleared the codes with hand scanner, drove for a couple days, and check engine didn’t return. Passed Texas emissions test with no problem.

Part fit perfectly. This was installed in a 2018 Chey Traverse redline edition with the V6. Part matched exactly and was a Bosch just like the faulty one I removed. The repair took me less than 20 minutes itself but I spent extra time washing and re oiling my K&N filter since I had it all part. My P0496 Error code is now cleared and I am back on the road.

I bought the same one last year and it broke down in less than a year. Now I bought this product again. If it breaks down again, I won't buy it again.

Fit perfectly. Been getting check engine light for 2 yrs. EVAP LEAK . Also after fill up very hard to start. Hold gas pedal to floor to start after fill up until you replace this valve. Replaced rear charcoal canister, not the problem. Always check this valve first. Easy peassy. 5 minutes install
