Multi-talented recording artist and actor, Nick Jonas has already intrigued the public and impressed the masses with the release of his new song Chains, earlier this summer, and will release his much anticipated self-titled album November 11 via Island Records. The album will be available both as a standard (10 songs) and a deluxe with three bonus songs. His debut single Jealous continues to get rave reviews. Following the debut of Jealous, Jonas performed the hit, for the first time on National TV: Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, September 11 and The Today Show on Friday, September 12. The suave, upbeat Jealous, is at the other end of the musical spectrum from Chains says Jonas. Both songs demonstrate the range of music I created on my album, continues Jonas. I m really proud of the body of music, which falls somewhere in between Chains and Jealous. Lyrically, Jealous is a song anyone can relate to within any sort of relationship or friendship. I can t wait for my fans to hear it. The video for Jealous is in the making, which was directed by the legendary artist Peter Tunney. Tunney, best known for his large scale pop art that uses mixed materials on canvas and inspirational messages, has been working creatively with Nick on various projects. More details on the video premiere will be announced soon. Nick recently wrapped production for DirecTV s new original drama series Kingdom , where he portrays a prized MMA fighter. The show, created by Byron Balasco and produced by Endemol Studios, will make its debut Wednesday, October 8 at 9pm on Audience Network.

Its so not what you might think... and thats a good thing
Great album...I'm 36 and can remember how awesome R&B was in the 70s, 80s and 90s; since the 2000s there has been this R&B tinged pop music genre filled by some better known male artists like JT and Bruno Mars, Jesse McCartney. Some of this genre, IMO,including some of JTs work, has missed the mark. I was disappointed by JTs 20/20 Experience. But this album is a wonderful exception. Plainly put- its fantastic. I love ALL kinds of music but I don't know any Jonas bros songs, but when I soundhounded "Jealous", and saw it was Nick Jonas I was shocked and intrigued. Then I found more cuts from the album online and heard "Chains", "Teacher", "Numb", "Wilderness"...I just had to cop (buy) the album. He should not be compared to JT too much because IMO vocally he's better. His falsetto is better rounded in the way it hits the ear than JTs. He really doesn't do the falsetto that much throughout the album , except for "Jealous", and I think that was smart. It sounds good, but he's not drowning you with it on every song. His other vocals are very good too.The music shows youthfulness and maturity simultaneously, like " Push". Each songs is distinct sounding from the next, which is also nice.A lot of the most played so-called R&B music today disappoints due to lack of real singing and artistry. That said, its an excellent example of what R&B tinged pop should aspire to be. This album will get heavy rotation in my car alongside Daly, Sam Smith, Miguel, and Raheem Devaughn, Amy Winehouse, and the Black Keys, just to name a few.I usually do not rate, much less so, review music because I usually am not surprised or excited to dissect it like this The fact that I actually took the time to write this is a testament, IMO, to how good the album is. I recommend you buy it.

Amazing but why are vocals distorted?
amazing album. i love Nick Jonas and respect his music. he did an amazing job with his debut album. the vinyl version loses a star because i find a trend on modern-day vinyls to distort the artists voice towards the end of one side of the record. one of the most anticipated songs on the vinyl i was looking forward to being blown away by was "Avalanche ft Demi Lovato,' but Nick and Demi's voice is all distorted that it took the emotion away. I wonder why that's the case with new, modern-day vinyls?update: Sept 1, 2015I took it to a local record shoppe and they confirmed the record is slightly warped. this can happen when the record is left in the sun or in a car too long. somewhere while it was being delivered it warped.

Wow, beautiful voice and great music!
This album really showcases Nick’s voice very well and I like all the songs. My favorite has to be Jealous... such a classic and won’t ever get old. Highly recommend it!

Great R &B album
Nick Jonas takes up where Justin Timberlake and John Mayer left off in the early 2000s: with a Contemporary R&B album and a tenor croon that just won't quit. Glad he decided to do this one, although some of the relationship lyrics make me think he's REALLY had his heart broken a time or two.

Nick Jonas all grown up
Nick Jonas has been in the music industry for many years. His sound has evolved and grown. But, his presence and voice remains strong in all of his music. In this album, he shows a more grown up version of himself. Each song on this album has the potential to be a hit. I enjoyed the soulfulness of his voice and the great care put into the compilation of each song. Almost every song makes me want to dance and every single song has me singing aloud at the top of my lungs. I am so excited to spend this summer blasting this music with the windows rolled down.

People think I'm crazy
Yes, I'm the one bouncing in my seat while driving listening to this album. I was a fan of the Jonas Brothers and have always loved Nicks voice. The songs are catchy. My 5 year old sings lyrics of the few songs I let him listen to. My favorite song from this album is Warning. If you were a JB fan you'll love how much Nick has grown up and has branched out on his own.

Catchy Album.
When I first heard ''Chains'' on the Radio I had no idea Nick Jonas was singing it, I was expecting more of a one hit wonder. And I had never liked The Jonas Bothers music before. However the song ''Chains'' led me to check out his album and I'm glade it did. This is a really good album, the songs are very catchy and surprisingly this album doesn't remind me of the annoying teen-pop albums. I get a classy, edgy vibe off the album. And most definitely recommend it to Pop music lovers like myself. I love the sound effects and most of the songs. Great A+

Amazing RnB album
Amazing album. I loved Jonas Brothers but this is completely different. Nick is no longer a Disney pop star he is now a grown up RnB singer.Every song on this album is really well written and performed. The stand out song has to be Jealous.
