I am very pleased with my Rockwell band saw. It does a really good job on everything I need

Here’s the basic’s. Simply put for the money spent I am happy with something I can use a few times in a month. We the United States no longer manufacture a good low end tool (or) tools for beginner’s. But still need something we can use. Somehow we still believe other Countries should have enough pride to sell a good quality product when they're only make pennies a day doing it. I’m a hobbyist. No need for the high end tools used by People or Companies who rely on quality made tools that won’t break down during the manufacturing process.

Even cutting 1/16" plywood, the cut is not straight. It drifts all over the place. On closer inspection, I found that instead of having a bearing on either side of the blade above and below the cutting area,there was only a bearing on one side of the blade. I didn't look like parts were missing because there were no mounting holes for them anyway. Very disappointed in this Rockwell product. I finally got rid of it to an acquaintance at a fair price-twenty dollars.

Bought this band saw for my son , for a Christmas present. He has used this saw and said that it works good. He was glad that I had gotten it for him. The only draw back that I had with this, was the shipment, The saw had been roughly treated during the shipment, causing the bottom of the box to open. When I received it at the delivery truck one of the tools that comes with the product, fell out onto the ground. The saw is made tough. There wasn't any damage done to the saw. I recommend this band saw to anyone that likes to do hobbies.
