NOT for women only!
Not sure why these are marketed as for women, but other than that quirky decision by the manufacturer we have nothing but accolades about this product. My husband has a rather extensive clot in his leg that we thought had resolved but it started to increase in size so we are back on blood thinners and leg stockings. These are far and away the best stockings out there. They are thick and as such much easier for him to put on (his biggest complaint) and the heavy compression is extra insurance against the clot. (As to sizing, he is 5’ 11” and about 195 Lbs. The large fits him perfectly).

Stop leg pain
I stand all day as a nurse and was having severe leg pain. These stockings completely fixed my leg pain and swelling. They stay in place and never move all day regardless of how much moving I do. I ended up ordering more and in multiple colors.

Great for pregnancy!
I am pregnant and have varicose veins. I'm not a large person but after multiple pregnancies, veins can happen. These work very well to compress the leg and take away vein pain. It's nice they are not full foot and start at the ankle. The top part holds up nicely and there is little to no slipping down. For size comparison, I'm 5'7" and 130 lbs

VERY COMFORTABLE
I HAD TO BUY THESE FOR VEIN TREATMENTS, AND I WAS TOTALLY NOT THRILLED ABOUT IT! I RECEIVED THESE IN 1 DAY, AND TO MY SURPRISE, THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE!! THEY DO NOT ROLL DOWN LIKE OTHERS I HAVE HAD PREVIOUSLY.

Works
I had to use these after having vein surgery, I like them and will continue to use them but where the rubber keeps them up on your thighs I suggest wrap in medical tape or something because the rubber will rub the skin off after days of wearing them.

Updated: No amount of savings is worth the pain.
I thought these would do for post schlerotherapy compression, but they are so uncomfortable, I can barely keep them on. I guess I should have spent a little more. Lesson learned. The company apologized and issued a refund. I appreciate the professionalism and service. If they fix the grip, it will be a great product!

Wish I didn't buy this
I purchased this for a leg vein treatment that I had. It's a weird fit because if you are like 90% of the population and have any kind of fat on your thighs, this stocking will bunch it all up at the top. I can't even wear pants with this because you can see the deformed sausage leg at the top of my thigh. I can't find any other way to describe it.... I don't even want to take a picture. Now if you are in the 10% of population that has little or no fat in your thighs, you could probably get away with it. I'm 5'5" and weigh 140 lbs and purchased a medium. I also had an allergic reaction to the rubber knobs on the upper top inside of stocking that is supposed to help keep your stockings from rolling down. The knobs were getting imbedded in my skin and actually caused markings on my leg, which because they were little knobs, the markings ended up looking like a band of rash all around my thigh. Save your money and buy something else or just get the knee high ones. In the end, I found out that although my vein treatment was on my upper thigh, I could have gotten away with wearing knee high compressions. The goal is to get the blood flowing upwards from your ankle, so basically once it's up to your knee, you should be fine getting it up to your thigh area without compressions on your thigh.

SO TIGHT EVEN ON CHICKEN LEGS 😳scared me but I like them.
Holy moly! I almost had a panic attack trying to put these things on the bordered on being painful because of how tight they were and I have really skinny chicken legs. I will add a photo once they are out of the wash and I think of it but I was worried about them being not tight enough. I am 103 and 5’5” with really skinny legs... it was a huge struggle to put them on and I would say there’s a technique to it. Do you want to put them inside out and not punch them at all but fold them in half and then gently move them up your leg because otherwise you’re going to lose circulation LOL they are great once they’re on and they’re tight and they do what they’re supposed to do but they are not very stretchy and they are not easy to adjust so you need to get them on right from the bottom as you go up and be prepared to you battle! If your legs aren’t stick then like mine I would also have some scissors ready in case you get stuck. I thought I would have to send them back and also was really scared putting them on because they were so tight but once I figured out how to put them on and had them on I really like them.
