Great product ordered to use on bedroom windowsill. amazing how much water collected in bottom. just ordered replacement crystals . would definately recomend.

How is it supposed to work?
Agree with the reviewer who said it was hard to dismantle to put the crystals in - then the crystals spilt all over the rim and the floor. Have positioned this in a very very small damp room in a corner where the condensation is worst. After a week the crystals seem stuck together, there is water in the rim but no water has drained through. Yesterday however I noticed that the whole thing was sitting surrounded by a pool of water. Not sure if it is attracting moisture and it's draining onto the floor or if it's just not working on the condensation. Very disappointed but somehow knew I would be when I bought it!UPDATE - now, after 3 or 4 weeks, water has begun to collect in the base unit. Don't know if this means the crystals have absorbed all they can, don't know if this means there will be less condensation. So have amended my 1 star to 3 star but remain to be convinced.

Works well messy to set up.
Good at absorbing moisture but found that the crystals leak out of the container that holds them so it tends to make a mess until the crystals become solid, which is a bit worrying if you have pets in the house.
