Former FSAE Suspension Designer's Review
I gave this book 5 stars because of the very unique view of suspension geometry given and the plain language used which helps with conceptual understanding.You will not find this information in any other common automotive suspension book. I doubt its all been collected and presented like this before. He gives clear first principles descriptions of a multitude of important factors in great detail such as road profile, suspension/steering geometry, compliance, 3D geometry of several suspension types, computational geometry techniques and considerations. The appendices are full of math and techniques as they related to the book.Geometry is describe with coefficients that tell a story not "antis" or other such buzzword infected nomenclature. The way of developing these coefficients is descried in detail as well as their usage. Do not think that this book is antiquated on account of having access to kinematics or CAD software. The usage of such tools alone leaves you more blind to a great many things than you would think. This book provides insights and wisdom you will not find as you are applying copious amounts of the "brute force guess and check" method often used with most CAD based kinematics software.The 1st chapter on the history of suspension designs is fascinating and I could almost flip through it all day just staring and thinking. Just like in his damper handbook this chapter is a real "dessert" before the meal sort of introduction.

Well above what I was looking for but if your going for a masters degree, this book will do it.
