Relatively easy to install, can finally see charge available on boat house batteries.
This monitor directly replaced another instrument on the dash of my boat. So, I did not have to cut any holes.One thing to remember that the 'amp hours' available will totally drain your battery.If you have lead-acid batteries, this is not an option as this will damage the battery.That said, the reading for 'amp hours' available is probably only 40% of what it displays.I suggest setting the low voltage alarm and see how the available amp-hours decline over time. It may be exponential with respect to the age of your batteries.Excellent product.

Shows lithium battery SOC and can trigger an AGS
I bought because I needed a battery monitor for my lithium batteries in my motorhome. I bought this one because it can trigger my Auto Generator Start when the batteries SOC gets to low. It measures the current in and out to know the SOC. I also have a Xantrex inverter/charger and AGS.I have installed and worked good in tests. Need to use more to see how accurate it is.

Great information and simple installation
As advertised this unit will give you great information on consumption as well as state of charge. It does only show voltage on the second battery rather than state of charge. Great for getting a better understanding of actual device power consumption as well as potential power “leaks”.

Great worth the money!
Relatively easy to install. Of course this depends on your application. The product is well worth the money as it may save you from having an unexpected dead battery or having to replace the batteries sooner than would be needed. It is easy to read and easy to program. You do need the connection kit to be able to wire it in. It has saved me fuel money by not having to run the generator as often and I have learn that this saves the deep cycle batteries as well.In my opinion these should be part of the standard setup on any outdoor /battery / generator system.

work very well love it... Xantrex is a fantastic product also great costumer service. great support. if you have a question call them dont guess they will take the time to walk you trough installation and trouble shooting. If they make a product that I need I will always buy first Xantrex.I own a 45 foot catamaran. and have 2 battery bank for my hybrid boat! I do only buy xantrex battery charger ... inverter, monitor.I'm a real costumer my email is europeanfitness@netzero.net email me if you dont beleive it
