Be Careful, Friend! (Yo Gabba Gabba!) Board book – April 20, 2010

My daughters love Yo Gabba Gabba. It is a very colorful and entertaining show. We went to the stage show and the girls were very engaged the entire time. We purchased this book for our youngest daughter. She recognized the characters and really enjoyed how the story was similar to an episode of the show. She would regularly flip through the book on her own looking at the pictures. We would use this safety themed book along with the Yo Gabba Gabba Bedtime board book for her bedtime stories and she always loved them. One book is a little short, so two makes for a perfect bedtime story set. As for the book itself, it has a thick, soft cover and the cover as well as all the pages are very sturdy. It is built very well and the thick pages are easy to flip for a young child. The book was great up until around age two where we started transitioning her to longer stories. But for any Yo Gabba Gabba fan that is 2 years old or younger, this book is great!

I like this book because it teaches safety in various situations like using helmets, sliding, reaching for high up things, swimming, etc. But for me, it doesn't seem as engaging and fun like some of the other books. My 2 year old son still likes to read it and look at the pictures but he doesn't seem to laugh or have as much fun while reading it. I would say this is one of their more "serious" books.

I'm not really sure why but my 3-year-old loves this book and wants to read it over and over again. He likes the fun, colorful characters, and their silly names. When his Daddy reads it he does funny voices for each character, which are a hit. The book reinforces things my son is learning like sitting in your seat to eat and taking turns to slide on the slide. I can't say if other little ones would love it this much but it is a huge hit here.

I thought this book would be more fun and upbeat, but it's not. It's a lot of words for one page. My two year old LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba and doesn't really care too much for this book.

Great read for any You Gabba Gabba fan! My 3 year old loves this book.

My 2 yo daughter LOVES this book! She is a huge YGG fan, especially Muno. This book hits on many safety issues that we face on a regular basis: buckling up in the car, waering helmets, swimming safety and what you can do if you get hurt. It is a board book, so should endure for my son to enjoy as well. This is a favorite pick at bedtime.

My 20 month old daughter loves looking at the pictures and is always bringing it to mo to read to her.
