Great Product
If you are an artist looking for a reliable and easy-to-use resin product, Tableboat resin might be just what you need. This product offers a high-quality finish that can make your artwork look more professional and polished. One of the best things about Tableboat resin is its ease of use. Unlike some other resin products on the market, Tableboat resin is designed to be user-friendly and forgiving, making it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced artists alike. The product has a low viscosity, which means that it flows easily and is less likely to create bubbles or other imperfections.Another great feature of Tableboat resin is its durability. Once it has cured, the resin creates a hard, clear coating that is resistant to scratches, UV light, and yellowing. This makes it an excellent choice for artwork that will be displayed in bright or sunny spaces, as it will maintain its clarity and color over time. Finally, Tableboat resin is versatile enough to be used for a wide range of applications, from coating and sealing artwork to creating jewelry, coasters, and other decorative items.

Great product
I like the fact that this is a 50/50 mix and gives you plenty of time to work with it before it starts to get hard. But once you’ve gotten it to where you want it and leave it alone it sets up nicely and in a descent amount of time! Roughly around 4-5 hrs for me in my 72 degree living room. It doesn’t generate hardly any heat at all so there should be no yellowing of the material at all! Easy to trim or sand to get excess off around the edges as well. Key tip, use packing tape to mask off any unwanted areas, not masking tape as it is made from paper and paper will get moist and the epoxy will pretty much bond to it. I wish this kit at least came with a squeegee or something to spread it out with. Other than that this is a great product at a descent price! Would definitely buy again for other projects

Feel ripped off, Packing issue
I probably would have really liked this product if it had been sealed and shipped correctly. One of the bottles had a corroded seal that left black gunk floating in the bottle. In addition, the inner box had the arrows correctly but the outer amazon box was packaged upside down, directing everyone to handle it in the wrong direction. This would be an excusable mistake if it could be returned, but the fact that you're left paying for their error is pretty lousy. From what I could use, it worked well on my counter. It leveled and cured quickly, eliminating a dust issue I was having with another brand. I used it with some molds as well and it works okay but there's a strong smell that hasn't gone away. It's not quite as glossy as another brand I used but my products came out with less imperfections (dust, bubbles, pulling), which is more important to me.The product really does seem good but being unable to use a lot of because of the with the way it came, I feel pretty ripped off. I think I'll buy another brand or directly from the company next time.

This brand is the best by FAR!!!!!!!
THE PPL WRITING BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS RESIN CLEARLY LACK EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING AND IT WAS USER ERROR, NOT THE RESIN ITSELF. Hands down this resin is the best. I’ve tried sooo many popular brands and none of them compare to this. For all the reasons- cheaper than most all other brands, BPA free, extremely low VOC’s which means NO SMELLY FUMES! And it’s BUBBLE FREE when mixed at correct temp which is 73-75 degrees. In winter it helps to warm your resin, I warm mine by sitting on in front of my heated air purifier while I set up my project. I can’t say enough good things about this resin. It also make beautiful resin waves when you use the right tools

Easy to use
This was much easier to use than I expected it to be. I used 2 coats and within 24 hours it was dry and smooth. I'm very happy with how my kitchen table turned out.

Follow the Directions
I used epoxy to finish MDF shelving. Follow the directions for successful results. Preparation and organization is key to minimizing frustration. Plan out your steps, because when the epoxy begins to cure (gel), any attempts to make adjustments or fix mistakes will be counter-productive. Doi not work fast, just work efficiently. Plan out your job and if you think you need a second set of hands to do a "larger" job, do so.I used about 2 pints epoxy and 2 pints hardener per batch, ambient temperature of about 80* F. The clock starts when you start mixing them together. After about 3 minutes of vigorous stirring, I noticed a distinct different chemical smell from the batch and the viscosity changed ever so slightly. That way my que to pour the mixture onto tabletop. Let it flow out; using a notched trowel to help spread is imperative.I recommend doing a few very small sacrificial samples to get familiar with the epoxy if you cannot afford any mistakes on your finished job. For me, the results are fantastic: Glassy-Smooth finish & durable.

Ruined my bar top
So took a chance and decided to try my hand at epoxy for my bar top. After much research I went with total boat. I’m sure I did something wrong but all my pours were between 70 and 80 deg in a closed garage. Mixed 3 min in a 2qt plastic paint bucket, poured to a clean bucket and mixed for 3 min then poured and worked it within the 10min window. I did two thin coats on the bottom and two on the top and it looked great. Did a final flood coat on the top (3rd coat) and ended up with with waves dimples and thin spots. Decided to sand it and pour a thin coat to fix it. Big mistake. Came out even worse. Sanded that down and pored another thin coat. Even worse mistake. Looked exactly like the one before and apparently didn’t cure. I’m going to try to get down to a hard surface somewhere in there and polish it back up with progressively higher grits. I don’t even know if that’s possible with the uncured spots. Maybe your not supposed to apply more than two coats no matter the thickness, I really don’t know but after about $300 for all this headache it’s back to poly for this guy.
