This scoop is built well in the sense that it’s very heavy and significant. It’s shiny and easy to clean. The most appealing part for me is that the stand is about to hold the scoop and stand alone without being mounted to something. All the other ones I found didn’t come with a holder that is able to hold the scoop without being mounted. I got this for my candy jar on my desk at work and it’s so easy to use.

I purchased this scoop for my large glass flour jar and it worked out so well. The finish has not changed. It still looks brand new. It's weight and quality is the best.

Very good and works well after being frozen in the bin. Finish holds up nicely too. Perfect size for my hand.

The first one I purchased was in October 2020 for a dog food scoop. This one was for a lower freezer ice scoop in October 2023. I get 5-6 ice slivers easy (3-4 cubes without effort each scoop) and more if I have direct access from the top like if I pull the ice bucket out a little bit before I scoop.I've found that the downward swoop/tail/handle holds onto the ice bin and won't typically fall into the ice which is great.The scoop is nice and heavy and hasn't tried to stick to my hand like my wife thought metal in ice would do.I think the design is great and I'll keep buying as long as the product stays the same.

Solid construction and a lack of large seams or rivets make me a lot more comfortable using this for anything food-related than a lot of the alternative options. Great for bulk pantry storage, pet food, or, of course, ice.

Works great! Ice gets scooped up easily and the open end is perfect for pouring it right in to my glass! Nice looking shiny stainless, all metal construction. My only criticism is that the handle could use a silicon sleeve to keep damp finger from freezing to it.

This scoop is a well designed and balanced. Love that it comes with it's own stand that can be mounted or stand alone on a counter or bar. It's shape and smaller size is appropriate to get ice for beverages. Being stainless steel makes it durable and easy to clean.

3 oz is perfect size for my 10 cup containers of flour and sugar. Scoops are deeper than spoon-like scoop I used before. They were red and hard plastic. New scoops have very nice handles. Come in larger sizes, too. Will buy others if needed. Just one comment about smooth sides. Sides are smooth and curved as described, but ends of scoops were a little sharp. Fine sand paper took care of that problem.
