Fits elongated toilet perfectly….but a few minor things to mention….
I bought 3 different models by the same brand. I decided to keep this one because if feels pretty secure with the lock….the other had sticky things on the bottom, and the other is the same as this, but with no handles. There is minor movement at the top, but none at all on the bottom where you tighten the screw. But not to worry…it doesn’t move enough to make any difference, and it definitely will not come off. The plus is in the handles. I think it would be ok not to have them, but it gives more security when sitting down, and especially when getting up. Some people have said they wobble. They do a little, because all you’re doing is sliding 2 little buttons into 2 little holes, but it’s still secure. Another nice thing about this model is that there is no hardware involved. Just turn the handle clockwise until it feels tight. You can easily lift it off by unscrewing the handle for guests. I will update when it actually has been used over the course of surgery recovery!

Excellent product and super easy to install.
I bought this for my aging mother. She was using a medical chair that sat over the toilet. With the width of the legs on the chair, the bathroom door was not able to close. This eliminates the legs extending to the floor and it attaches to the toilet instead of just sitting there which was a concern of mine. Once I received it, I saw that it attached and was easy to install. It is constructed of thick plastic material that has no problem of holding 250 pounds without deforming. I am heavier than my mother so I sat on it to ensure that if was going to fail, it would be with me. I really like the handles to give a little assistance.

Doesn’t fit perfectly for two different elongated toilets, but still could work
The item arrived in terrific packaging. When purchasing, at checkout, I made sure to select not to ship in manufacturers box, but to use it inside an Amazon box. Items were still covered in plastic and packaged well and I could tell it had not been used or anything. Four stars because it does not exactly fit the two different toilet bowls I’d like to use it on. Both bowls are elongated and the piece that you screw in. The front only goes so far forward. There are plastic pieces in the back of the bowl that have a curved edge, and that helps also to keep it a bit steady and latch in. The instructions say not to lean on the bowl and because it does not fit exactly as it should. I can see that being a problem. If an elderly person or someone or to put one hand only on one of the handlebars as they were sitting down or getting up, it may more easily slide or pop out. Best, if you can remember to use both handlebars when sitting down or getting up. This might be more difficult for my aging mother who will be visiting. Her memory is compromised and she may not remember to use both hands. we are going to try it and see how it works for her. I have tried it and installed it and sat on it myself and feel that it might work. Also, I tried it on two different toilets and how it fits. Also depends on the toilet seat itself. That’s already on the toilet. to install this device, you lift up the toilet lid and the toilet seat and then you put this device down on the bowl. The height of the toilet seat that is now at your back depends on how well this will fit. I removed one of them and tried installation, but then my bowl is definitely too long and the device would definitely not fit. just as I thought, I think this is a try it and see if it works kind of item. Every toilet bowl is different and we have three different toilets in our house and they’re all different. And this fits differently on at least two of them. But I’m going to keep it and see how it works out.

Post Knee Surgery Lifesaver!
I never thought I’d be writing a review for a toilet seat, but this one certainly warrants a recommendation. For reference, I am 5’4 and weigh between 105 and 110; this fit me perfectly. The handrails are adjustable and I used mine at the tightest fitting. I think someone who is 225 would easily fit with the extended options for the handrails.I found it to be very sturdy and didn’t experience any leakage. Never once did I feel unstable and the functionality did the job. There is kind of a tunnel effect in the toilet that you need to keep on top of, but other than that, I found it to be exactly what I needed and super easy to install.

Very Dangerous Product!! Do not buy!!
I bought this for myself because I was having hip surgery.. I installed myself and I felt it was secure until I actually had to use it. In the middle of the night I went to the bathroom and when I sat on it it slid off to the right luckily but not luckily landing me on the floor! The toilet is next to the shower with very little room between the glass doors and the toilet. I could have crashed through those doors and gotten very badly hurt. As it was I am very bruised and sore from hitting the floor with my shoulder. I am 72 yrs old and I could have broken bones on top of a serious surgical procedure that I just got home from! This thing should be taken off the market before serious injuries occur to others! I want my money back and you are lucky I’mnot suing the inventor, the manufacturer, the seller, and Amazon for selling such an unsafe product!!!

Very good quality
I was really skeptical of the quality and durability of this product, but the quality and durability is excellent, and I would definitely recommend this for anyone who was looking for a raised toilet seat with the handles, it is very sturdy and secure.
