Consew C10NS Heavy Duty Single Needle Chainstitch Portable Bag Closer/Closing Sewing Machine

We purchased this unit back in September. It was ready to sew right out of the box. In my limited time owning and using it I find it to be a Very Good sewer. We have broke one needle however I think this was operator error rather than a problem with the machine. The book that comes with the sewer is basically a schematic diagram of the machine. It offered an exploded view of the unit, the name of parts and the part numbers. There was no user manual included. I was able to find a user manual on the internet. I was able to locate replacement needles on the internet as well. I was able to email the seller about what might have caused the needle to brake and received a prompt response as well as follow up contacts to check up on our issue. The inclusion of an owners manual would have made this a more pleasant experience but to date I am extremely pleased with the performance and quality of this unit.

They actually mistakenly sent a different brand of closer to me[looks and works the same, probably same manufacturer]. When I brought this to their attention they promptly refunded the price difference and offered me free thread. As for the machine, it has worked flawlessly. Occasionally the thread will break ,but I think this is flaws in the thread not the machine. We use this to sew approx. 40 fifty pound poly-weave feed bags a week, so not too heavy use. This was the best price I found.

I have only had this for 8 month and something happened to the sewing mechanism. Terrible costumer support on all ends. I even bought the 2 year warranty and still cannot get someone to help.

We use this brand after having ok results from yamata. These sewing machines are well built for medium use commercial. We have run over 30,000 bags through it so far in the last two years, and it is just now due for a tune up. Basically just tighten and clean everything internal and adjust as needed. Actually still on original needle. Also we use the thread from 3m in a box of 100 yellow cones. Have missed maybe a dozen bags so far and we even use it to repair super sacks with broken straps. We use on multi wall paper and woven poly. Works great on each even with the ends of the bags folded in making the paper 4 layers of bag, 3 layers each.
