Dell Precision 7710 17.3inch FHD, Core i7-6820HQ 2.7GHz, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro 64Bit, (Renewed)

The 7710 I purchased through Amazon works like a champ. I have numbers of the lighter commercial laptops from Dell in my video studio. Unfortunately, they have been cost cutting and it shows. Fru-fru colors, no keyboard lighting, fewer ports, etc. (Who would have silver keytops with pail blue lettering?)I have been watching Amazon for lighted keyboards with black/gray keys and some horsepower. This one fit the bill at the right price. Keep up the good work.Just a note. Thanks.

The USB port did not work.

I bought this computer for my father in law with the help of my IT manager at work. He said that this was a great computer and a stellar deal. Once I got it, my IT guy took a look at it to make sure it was a good computer and everything looked okay and he said he was super jealous because it's in amazing condition and such a good deal!

I am neither a pro, nor a novice. I’ve been assembling my own computers since the mid-1990s; I am not fearful of refurbished products. I am impressed with the dell mobile workstation; I am unimpressed with the lack of response by the seller. The computer arrived in great shape physically, functionally, not so great. It has no audio, and despite repeated installation of the appropriate audio package, available from the Dell website, continues to have no audio. In addition the video driver is the OS generic driver. All attempts to install the proper software, again from Dell, end in an error message stating the package is incompatible with this system. Even if this problem originates with the Dell website it strains credulity that the seller wouldn’t be aware of that before shipping it to me. With adequate support these problems are not a deal-breaker; zero support, failure to respond, is. This is my third, and last, attempt to solicit a response. I have been issued an RMA, and will use it by the end of the week if the status quo prevails.

Downgraded for two things. #1 - no bluetooth so I can't connect a wireless headset. All my other Dell laptops have a bluetooth connection, but not this one.#2, the top cover film is coming off. The textured cover on the lid top is glued to the top of the laptop. I slide the laptop into my laptop bag and noticed the film is peeling off around the edges. It's consistent on all sides. I've never seen that happen either. Functionality is fine, very good battery life, just two little disappointments.

I think I got a good deal when compared to the price of a new 17inch laptop. This far I am a very satisfied customer.

Don't trust this seller. Refurbished/Renewed computers may have cosmetic defect but hardware defects are not expected. I was sent a laptop which has 4 USB ports and 3 of those ports on the right are non functional. The SD slot too is not functional. Amazon should block such sellers.

Unfortunately, too heavy for my old arthritic hands......Very sadly, I had to return it for that reason. It weighed about 8 pounds, and I couldn't get a grip on it. It was planned to be my portable laptop. Seller was excellent and my money was quickly refunded. I would happily deal with this seller again.
