I was a little skeptical to buy these after reading some reviews. I mean they're Hershey Kisses. It's not fake chocolate. They're fresh kisses in the blue foil I was looking for. They weren't melted, they weren't unwrapped, they were absolutely as good as if I purchased them directly from Hershey. And I didn't count them like some people did too and complained that they were short from the 400 pieces in the bag. I'm using these for part of the bridal shower favors I'm making. I even had some left over for me.

I have purchased these Milk Chocolate Hershey Kisses in bulk now several times over the past two or maybe three years from Amazon, sometimes with different colored foil, and have really not found any difference between them. While I would love the foil covering to match the colors of the seasons since they are used for snacking as well as baking (when it does not matter what color the foil wrapper is), I honestly look mostly at the overall cost when deciding which color foil I want. They have always been fresh when I have opened them up, and this batch was no exception to that. Oftentimes the expiration date is almost a year beyond my purchase date. Amazon does not like to ship these (or will not ship them, as the case may be) when the weather is warm since they can melt, so if you want to order them for use in the warmer weather, you may need to plan ahead. I will certainly purchase them again, as it is an easy way to get a bulk purchase, and I do not have to shop for them myself and carry them home with me.

This huge bag worked out perfectly for the baby shower I hosted for my son and his fiancee. I filled carnival glass goblets and candy dishes for the D&D-themed party. I had more than enough and could send treat bags home with the guests after the party, so even those who didn't win any prizes still left with a treat.

Very economical putting the unused pieces in a sealed plastic bag and placing it in the refrigerator keeps each piece fresh tasing until they are ready to be eaten.
