worth buying
I am very pleased with my purchase of these shoes, which I used during several hikes in Sitka, Juneau, and Skagway, Alaska. The comfort and lightweight design truly impressed me, and I have no regrets about my decision. Initially, I experienced some discomfort in the upper part of my feet due to the shoe's design, but this pain subsided after I began walking. Overall, the shoes are well worth the price, being more affordable than many alternatives I encountered.

Money's worth & more!
Waited until I wore these boots on quite a few hikes to warrant leaving a review. As for the seller, he/she was prompt and the boots were packaged well and arrived speedily. As for the boots, never had to break them in, which is a sign of a proper boot. I've hiked through creeks, mud, on gravel and hilly terrain. They have 100% passed the litmus test. I was concerned because the price was so cheap I was afraid they'd be a knockoff or faux shoes; I took the gamble and purchased them and it was well worth the risk. I love these boots!!!

So far so good!
These boots have been with me for a number of hikes now and I can confidently say these are waterproof! I've waded through streams and shallow areas of rivers with no problem. You can feel the temperature of the cold water thru the boots which is cool but the water never gets inside, even when standing in it. I'd also sweep them thru the water to get most of the mud off without worrying about getting soaked. They're also very comfortable and give great ankle support. I never feel any ache or material rubbing my foot the wrong way while hiking, even if it's for 6+ hours of constantly climbing rocks or navigating through trails. I give it 4 stars because they're not very breathable, but I guess that is to be expected. You can't have everything. On hot days, it can get very sweaty and take a few days to dry inside completely.

Tough boot
They are hanging in there well. I use them for camping/over landing over rugged terrain. They have handled the rugged rock trails well so far. It’s important to take them off and let your feet breathe ever so often on your hikes and get odor wick socks to help keep your feet dry and you’ll be golden.

Nice for the price..
Well made and fit better than my other brand of hiking boots, will see if they last longer, I like this hiking boot style for easy on and off, and the reasonable price, now I should mention I've only been wearing the boots for a few days and this is my opinion and will update if needed.. Warren B.

Best Fit Ever!
I have double wide feet, and I often struggle to find shoes/boots that fit my extra wide feet well. After a ton of research, I saw a review here that said the wide was really wide. I decided to take a chance, and I have not been disappointed. These boots may be the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Love the style; They are lightweight; and the arch support is sufficient. Will report back with wear and tear feedback.

Awful smell out of the box
Well, briefly tried them on. Disappointingly, they stunk to high heaven of some type of chemical or leather treatment coming out of the box. I have them sitting in the garage to air out and the smell is fading, but it was extremely pervasive. The paper stuffed in the shoes absolutely reeks of the same type of chemical. The left boot seemed a little large, but the right boot fits very well. If the smell does not tamp down, they will have to be returned. Will update further...

Awesome boots
I am not a hiker but I work in the agriculture field and my feet often get wet. I also do a lot of walking at work. These Boots keep my feet dry and surprisingly do not sweat while wearing them. For the price they are exceptional boots
