I am very happy with this rain stick. They didn’t try to make this more than it is. I wanted a toy to help a special needs baby with sensory development, and to catch his attention. This does just that, makes rain and looks interesting so he will look up at it. This is overall 12” long, and the rain-making part is 10.5” long. There are 11 colorful discs with holes aligned differently to make the beads go more slowly through. The beads take their time (5-10 seconds) getting to the bottom, and when you think it’s done you can continue to wiggle it for more beads to come down. While this toy may be too long for a small babe to hold on their own, it meets my use to hold it for baby for now, until he gets a bit older.

At first my son was scared to play with it because he end up falling in love! He broke it the second day by throwing it so you have to be careful. It makes a-lot of noise and the size is pretty big.

I bought this for my grandson's first birthday. It's a good size for him(the 12 inch stick) and the colors and noises keep his attention. I think it's a great toy.

Really liked this item, until the kids broke it. I would recommend this for a max age of 3 years old. Definitely DO NOT stand on it or step on it accidentally, you'll have little plastic balls EVERYWHERE, and it will be trash. The sound was nice. It does absolutely imitate the sound of rain. Its calming and soothing. I do wish the sound lasted just a teeny bit longer, but it is a child's toy. You do get what you paid for, and this item was decent for the price, and fun while it lasted.

This is a pretty decent size rain maker. It helps my 5 yr old son stay calm when he is about to have a meltdown. This rain maker is great for autistic children for it helps calm them down. I have to say that this is one of my great purchase for one of my boys. He loves this & he keeps it in his room or takes it with him everywhere we go on car rides. 5 🌟s our of 5🌟s. My son loves it so I love it too.

I bought this for me, an adult, as a calming aid because I love rainsticks and I thought the pretty colors would be nice.However, this is marketed for kids and babies and that is dangerous. The end caps are both very loose. There are rubber gaskets (for rolling maybe?) that will come off.So it's cute for an adult, but potentially deadly for a baby.

My autistic granddaughter LOVED it!

My son is not gentle with his toys and this rain stick holds up to his play. Wonderful price wonderful product.
