Amazing, immersive and a book series I've struggled to put down the first time for many years that I've been engulfed in a book

I bought these for my teenage son. This is what he thought.I genuinely mean this from the bottom of my heart. This is the best book series I have ever read. I picked up the first book and couldn't physically put it down. The plot is gripping, the characters are interesting, and the pacing keeps you interested. There are so many twists that you need to know the ending.

Really good dystopian fiction , makes you think about the nature of death . Good if you like things like hunger games and such

It keeps you curious the whole time, also has extraordinary characters which are extremely marvelous.

This is a seminal book for young adults. I borrowed my 12yr old’s copy and I couldn’t put it down. I then read the next two in quick succession. It had echos for me of the great dystopia future texts such as Brave New World & 1984. The reason for this comparison is because it makes the reader think about the power of politics, religion & gender in a non condescending way. It is a story about morality in the face of adversity and challenging the status quo, It is a live story. It is also a Brillant read albeit with some graphic death scenes, but it kept me interested until the last page & I’m in my 40’s. I would petition the author for a prequel!

Some of the best books I have ever read.

One of the best series I have read in years, up there with Lord of the Rings, Asimov and Heinlein. It is just amazing, and definitely for those in the older age group not just young adults. I loved it so much that I actually emailed the author.
