I've had air fryers in the past. The one I liked the best was a Cosori. I was looking for another one when mine tore up, but the new ones I saw had too many bells and whistles that tend to tear up. My first Cosori was digital. It tore up within the guarantee dates and Cosori sent me a new one with the turn dial, at my request. Cosori's customer service at that time, was top notch. That's one reason I wanted another one.After I could not find a turn dial Cosori, I came across the Dash. I have some Dash products already and enjoy them very much. After much looking around, I found a 6 quart Cosori with the dial. I've had it for a week now and have used it at least once a day, sometimes more. Everything has turned out really good.I wanted to say that I've had experience with other air fryers and let you know how they compare. The Dash is much easier to clean and cooks just as good. There are only 2 things I would let people know about the Dash in order to decide which air fryer they would prefer. First is the dial...the time dial is black and so is the pointer, so it's very hard to see the amount of time you are choosing. Second is with all the other air fryers I've owned, the inner basket is detachable from the outer basket. So when you cook things like bacon that is greasy, you can disconnect the baskets, and dump the food onto a paper towel covered plate. With the Dash you cannot but this is also what makes it easier to clean. It has one basket and a crisper tray. The tray comes out and is so much easier to clean but the food has to be dipped out. I cut up turkey keilbasa and had to dip it out instead of being able to pour the pieces into my dish. Not a great big deal, but just in case it is for you, you'll know before you buy.Overall, I am really enjoying the Dash 6 Quart Air Fryer!

Bought and used smaller version of Dash air fryer to see if I would like/use. I’m usually leery of kitchen gadget fads! Was so pleased with results but found doing multiple batches (due to size) tiresome. Finally splurged and bought this 6qt (when price dropped).Prefer the manual dial over digital- so easy to set. I use it for frozen onion rings, fries, hush puppies - follow bag temp/time (flip halfway through time)-items don’t burn or dry out like oven; some veg like brussel sprouts, cauliflower cook really well without burning like in oven; I have adapted my recipes for chicken katsu & crabcakes for airfyer with great results. Biscuits and donuts bake well too.Dash is easy to use & clean; far less food odor with airfyer vs stovetop; heats up quickly unlike waiting for oven to preheat; no splatter (like stovetop frying); basket is huge, although can be finicky about closing but not an issue; unit does outgas a plastic smell first several uses. If planning to store in cabinet make sure to note overall dimensions- it is big (especially with large basket handle). Very happy with.

I purchased this because I had seen so many positive stories and reviews about it. I was not disappointed! It does a fantastic job of crisping, cooking, and reheating all kinds of foods. Even things that were originally baked are much better reheated in the air fryer than in the toaster.All of the fat from frozen foods like fried shrimp or french fries drips into the bottom of the drawer below the tray so the food is much less greasy. The drawer and tray are all nonstick and the tray has a little rubber feet on all four corners to prevent scratching. I’ve run it through the dishwasher on the top rack but also hand washed it gently with a non-scratch sponge and it has come out beautifully both ways.The unit is so compact that I can actually store it in the cabinet below my counter. I adore the color which is very cheery. The ability to adjust the temperature is a terrific improvement as some foods did better at a lower temperature. Most things are done within 5 to 7 minutes, even from frozen!Unfortunately the nonstick coating started to flake off of one corner of the drawer. I don’t know if it was from someone else not cleaning it carefully or a problem with the finish. I reached out to the company to ask if I could purchase a new drawer for the unit. They asked me to register the product (register your products folks!), provide them with proof of purchase date, information about the serial number, and images of the damage. I did so. I waited about three weeks but hadn’t heard anything. A couple days later I got a box in the mail. It was a brand new unit! They provided it to me at no cost. I am just so happy! I can’t recommend the product enough!

Brings air frying back to basics: temp and time. Great for seniors who don’t like to fiddle with controls; especially good cooking option for someone who might forget to turn off the stove, because it turns off automatically. Get the smaller one if you don’t cook in large batches.

I really like how well this works! Perfect size for 2 to 4 servings.
