Very effective cleansing tool - thorough but not harsh & doesn't leave your face feeling stripped. I use this at night to get my face really cleaned & have already noticed a difference in my pores. I use the turmeric version in the morning with just a scooch of cleanser & this at night with about half the cleanser I normally used before this product. Is definitely a keeper & pays for itself. It's also almost impossible to overuse it - even though it is that gentle it really is effective.

This is a great product!! Wonderful for home and travel, especially when you can only take a limited amount of liquids on an airplane. We can leave the cleansers at home. I wash with this sponge morning and again at night and just hang it to dry. Every one or two weeks I sterilize it as the package information recommends. They last for several months, depending on individual use. You can use with or without cleanser and get great results. They are soft and gentle once filled with water. My daughter and I both use these. I have purchased them for our family and as gifts for people travelling or going into the hospital. Delivery was on time and packaging is good.

the sponge does exfoliate but i think the charcoal one is better. not a terrible product just not the best for my skin- it has lasted me two months and is still in perfect shape

When I decided to purchase this sponge, I was not sure what I was getting, only that it appeared to be something special. I received the product and used it immediately. I loved it...When you take it out of the packaging, it is moist and ready to use. I didn't use cleanser the first time, and it felt great. Yesterday I used a little bit of cleanser just to see how it feels. The texture of the sponge feels great on the skin. I will have to try the other sponges by Konjac. I recommend this product!!! ;-))

After struggling with adult acne & breakouts my friend gave me a konjac sponge to replace my everyday towel usage. Love! Love! Love! I have been actively using since January 2016. My oily to combination skin gets year round blackheads that take huge precipice on my nose in late spring through summer. The Red clay is ideal during that time and right now, in the fall, when I want to mitigate the appearance of large pores and healthy glow during the colder season I use one of the green fibers.My morning routine (sometimes night) works well with a sponge deep clean (soak in hot water every 2 weeks) to ensure my face it being treated with clean agents produced in the sponge. The lifetime of the sponge is 2-3 months before I feel or see a need to change the type of fiber my face needs to nourish the healthy appearance. Try it! You will feel the smooth, supple effects in texture while also, hopefully seeing clear healthy skin.

I have used a few different kinds of these Konjac sponges, including this french green clay, along with the the turmeric and charcoal ones. This particular one works well and is reasonably priced, as are the others. I do sometimes struggle with adult acne. So I interchange this one with the charcoal one. If you struggle with any acne, definitely go with the charcoal sponge for that. When I have stopped using these, it can't be coincidence that my face starts to beak out again (regardless of which sponge I'm using), since everything else in my routine remains the same.I have found they all work very well at cleansing your skin and require an alarmingly small amount of cleanser on the sponge to foam up and wash my face very well. It's really extended the shelf life of my cleanser. Since using these, I've stopped using my Clarisonic and similar products. I have found this to be much more effective for me at getting a good, deep clean that washes off your makeup and impurities. I highly recommend these. I've been using them for about 2 years.

I bought 2 of these (green and red) and regret it. This didn't even last me a month! My usual brand lasts 4-6 months and I usually just go ahead and replace them at that point. Only 1 has ever torn at all and that was after several months of use. I tried this brand because it's a little larger and not made in China but it was way too soft and fragile. I could tell the first time I used it that it wouldn't last long but I expected more than 3 weeks. Back to my old brand (PURE SOL). Too bad, because I did like the larger size and the teardrop shape. If this is the first brand you try and you aren't happy with it, try another brand. Apparently, they aren't all the same.

I loved the feeling of my skin using this sponge as part of my routine. I received an email with instructions and followed them by the letter. The Q&A say you should replace the sponge when it starts falling apart, usually after 2 months of use. Mine fell apart after 3 weeks. Not worth it.
