Ultrathin Blister Prevention Ankle Socks

Great product and timely delivery.

Love these for skating. Never have probs with blisters no matter how long I skate. Knocked down 1 star because they are difficult to put on and remove. I bought 4 pair so I always have a dry pair to put on when I switch skates from figures to dance, plus some to put in my skate bag when one set (2 pair) are in the laundry.Update: they became easier to put on with use, so I restored the rating to 5 star. I wear a 7.5 street shoe and the medium work great for me now. I'm back to order a few more pair since I've lost a couple along the way. Love them as part of my skating sock magic - my feet are always comfy, no matter how many hours I skate in a day.

These are wonderful, I go through several pairs a year at least. I use them for mountaineering. For years I got heel blisters but now I use a combination of these, toe sock liners, and dual layer socks over that, and with all that together it's perfect. These thinner ones are better than the thicker ones, these don't add too much bulk inside your shoe/boot. Highly recommended!

Work well, but super super difficult to get on.

I just got new skates, and they rubbed my ankles raw. Yes, bloody raw. Even after they started to heal, I wore the skates again and my ankles were re-injured after wrapping them up with medical tape. My friend told me about these. I put a large band aid on the open wound area and put these booties over it. I was able to skate pain free. Once I took the bootie off, the band aid never moved. No more open wounds or blisters. Love these.

Just what I needed

In all fairness, I never tried these on. They arrive attached to a card and I could tell just by looking at them that they were going to be too small. I ordered the size recommended on the company's size chart -- I wear a women's size 7.5 shoe -- so I ordered a medium which should fit up to a size 9. It appears that there is virtually no stretch in the item and I could tell it would be too tight around the ankle. Actually wondered how I could slip the small, un-stretchable opening over my foot and heel. Perhaps a large would have fit, but there was a rather thick seam up the center back of the item that I wondered might cause a blister itself, which would defeat the purpose. Mind you, that is a speculation. I urge folks to size up. Good luck with the bulky seam..... One last thing. I ordered this item in beige but received it in black.
